For me personally, and I'm in no way shape or form speaking for everyone, just don't see the benefit of increasing stims more and more over time.
I see why people love that "going balls to the wall feeling", but it diminishes over time, and then you need a stim break.
I'm in the camp of using just enough stims to get going, and keep going. It seems to help keep my tolerance low enough that each time I use something, it works just like it should.
For instance, I'm doing 1 Blade first thing in the morning, and then about 2 hours later, 1 scoop of PPK. Then later in the day, a scoop of Velocity XT.
That's my stims for the day.Krispy Kreme Krew Forever.

As I kind of said the other day, I see it the same way.
I'm still creeping up in frequency of stim preworkout use over time though. Used to be, years ago, I'd use a (stim) pre 1-2x a week, now I lift 4x/week, always with a pre, and often stims for all (I do mix in days of non stim sometimes)
Which is why I appreciate being able to have a solid workout with just 1 scoop of Prolific or similar (last two workouts I did that).

Some of us are lucky enough that a tolerence to stims doesn't build at certain dosages. Do I get good energy on 300mg of caffeine anymore? Heck no. Maybe when I bulk and have all the extra carbs I'm able to get good energy off 300mg. I currently take between 400-600mg of caffeine preworkout and have never had to go above that at any time. My body just won't develop a tolerence to that much caffeine. But I did hit the point I don't want to increase caffeine from that point since it's as high as it already is.
The only downside is how much faster you can go through tubs of preworkout. However lots of times I'll take 1 scoop of PWO and use a caffeine pill or a cheap PWO that's essentially just caffeine.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

I feel bad for people with a naturally high tolerance like that.
When I take that scoop of Velocity @ 300 mg of caff, I'm humming along until a couple hours before bedtimeKrispy Kreme Krew Forever.

I think there is a threshold of which at some point your body is unable to build a tolerance to such high amounts. I've never heard of anyone really going over 600 mg on the regular.
I do know people that have ingested probably a gram in a day, but I would imagine its a bit of a gross exaggeration more than actual truth.Krispy Kreme Krew Forever.

Seems weird because it's such a high amount (600mg of caffeine at one time) to have to take, talking about not having to take more is like...well ****...I hope not because 600mg pre workout is a **** ton already
Quite a few people around the forum have claimed to get a gram a day semi regularly.

Ive found that products like Peak ATP (even in bulk), L-Citrulline, Peak O2, etc are much better for endurance while working out.
Stims seem to just "wake me up" and give me a boost of energy, that I notice more when doing cardio. During lifting, I notice much more from the other compounds.Krispy Kreme Krew Forever.

I have a hard time coming to any kind of conclusion because there are so many variables and there's always that giant ass placebo thing, but I'm starting to think I really do get better endurance for lifting with a good dose of citrulline, which would happen to help explain why I always like the results of Pre Kaged, and now prolific stacked with some high volume

I took 700 mg of caffeine once and I was not a fan. I hover around 300 and am more than happy. Lately I've dropped to about 250 and added anywhere from 50-100 mg of teacrine and been loving it.

I think it actually leans more towards true than false, reasons being:
1) People like to load for a week.
2) People usually don't use enough water when getting it down.
3) When you don't use enough water, creatine tends to pull water into the gut and then that leads to sharts.
Same. Based on what PeakO2 is purported to do, it's more or less a pretty useless ingredient for strength trainees.Completed Logs & Reviews:

Maybe all the PEA derivatives and novel stimulants are making the tolerance build up quicker.

I think OT was getting at "when mono is dosed properly" IE not loaded, enough water and 3-5 grams.
