Perhaps this might be a good idea to allow new members to introduce themselves and cut down on the I'm New here threads.
If you haven't already done so read the stickies on the main page here.
And yes there is a Are you new here? sticky;
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=699421
Some links that may provide answers before making a thread that asks;
- How's my diet?
- What are the best exercises?
- Should I workout in the morning/afternoon or evening?
Etcetera.
We can start off with;
The OV35 Best Links Thread (which might have been stickied IMO)
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=6255411
And a couple nutrition links;
boyscouT's Beginners Guide to Dieting/Training/Supplementation
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=3720211
The Cottage Cheese Thread
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=782996
There we go. So come on. Introduce yourselves here.
And Welcome To The OV35 Section.

This thread is a great idea.
Also, maybe a link to all the acronyms used so frequently, if anyone has them listed some where. That would be a big help for us total newbies.
I've been looking them up on the UrbanDictionary.
Here's my intro.
Thanks!Last edited by 1pak; 04-02-2008 at 08:24 AM.

I like your idea to link them to where they should READ before POSTING is great!
It keeps our part of bb.com less cluttered when there are already places to introduce yourself.
Furthermore, if you want any good advice, fill out your bodyspace stats so that people can see where you've been, what you are doing, and they can help better.

Is this still open?
If so, I am a newbie to this site, I've bought my supplements here for years but never tried the forum. As a old guy, around here anyway, I'm about to be 55 but still love to lift heavy. I did 385lbs just a few months ago at 235#. I since slipped into other ideas, loosing weight and such.
Currently I'm working on my incline bench trying to get it up, just for fun.
Anyway, Just wanting to say that grandpa is still working out and is coming after all the youngins.
