I hear it's a faint maple BA stout. I've not got it yet due to the one bar making it a sorta limited tasting of 5oz pours with six other shytty founders beers.
I'll wait till Feb to get full pours.

2013 was my bottle and my buddy popped his 2014 side by side. We both traded a Vanilla Rye for CHF+ for that tasting.

Espresso is definitely not my favorite Yeti variant. The coffee has fallen off leaving it super roasty still and overly bitter. It's not a bad beer, but not one I'll attempt to age any more or drink fresh either... Dat Bourbon Fred tho.... shiiiiiiiiiittttt

Oh, unless you meant the Dark Star. That **** was crazy, so much complexity from vanilla/oak/nutty sweetness to smoke and peppercorns. I enjoyed it, but 22oz was wayyyyy too much

Some guy on BA, he runs the Flying Saucer in Dallas/Fort Worth, is reporting that Alpine will be coming to Tx in March/April. If this is true, it's most likely being brewed by GreenFlash.

That is correct sir; Waff told me TX and NY are getting it (idk if it's just us or others too). We're getting it NY here on Feb 26 along with the owner/founder of GFBC. Hoppy Bday, Nelson, Duet, Pure HopPENIS.

And GF has been brewing all Alpine kegs offered outside of the brewpub since November 2012.

AFAIK, Alpine itself is the only one doing bottles. We're just getting kegs here. Not sure if GF will expand to doing bottles or not though. I'll ask the owner if news doesn't comes out before.

Really want Fou, kinda impartial on Chez... but curiosity gets the best of me.

All I've got to put up is ADWTD, De Garde Lucy and Boysen, '13 Peche n Brett, Ale Apoth, BT, and Fremont stuff.
Think a combo of any of those could make it happen, or am I just pissing in the wind here?

Fou is "easy" compared to chez. I've only seen one chez trade completed in the past 3-5ish months that didn't involve cash. Your offerings can definitely get Fou but it seems the loon traders are pissy little ****gits and only want sours but maybe you can get lucky with the few fremont variants + ADWTD. Moreover, there was some problem with fruit or something in 2014 in Europe so the '14 Fou is really highly-sought and lowly-produced. I think it comes out in August or so. I think a PnB and Lucy is a good start but you'll probably need something else if you want 2014. Are you on Reddit? Every Tuesday they have something called trade value tuesday and you can write in there what you wanna propose and if it's not some obscure ass beer, which fou is not, you'll likely get answers. You may be able to ask about it in the Friday thread too. If not, I can ask for you. I've never had fou but I know cyde and waff have.

Only vars I know of is the Meddlesome Moth, it's an upscale Flying Saucer, and The Common Table. Never been to Common Table. As far as breweries all I would hit are Lakewood and Community.

You will have to give up your entire cellar for Chez only to hear crickets. Fou on the other hand isn't that difficult to land. Problem with Fou is that it's mostly hoarded by lambic-bros, and they won't trade it for anything but sours. You definitely have enough ammo, but it will take the right set of eyes. Just remember that it's a $30-40 beer, so ask for them to make up the dollar amount if you end up throwing a bit their way. Avoid 2013 Fou if possible. It was a weak year for apricots and a bit off compared to 2012 or 2014.
