Hi guys!
Just starting out, 31 years old, 6'5 @205lbs. I am new to all this so should I start out bulking or cutting based on my figure? I just started the "Go From Zero To Hero In One Year: The Ultimate 365 Day Muscle Building Plan!" workout yesterday so yea, long way to go. Any feedback/advice will be greatly appreciated!

You have no muscle mass. The more muscle your body holds leads to less fat, generally speaking. Focus on that plan you have, eat clean, lift heavy per recommended reps, and be consistent. You will experience noob gains and likely shed that fat as your body is not used to being that active (I assume). Find what motivated you to start and keep that in mind as you go through this process. Again, be consistent. Good luck.

Start with nutrition- learning the basics about calorie and macro/micro nutrients and how they will help you reach your goals, read-

Once you have done that select a proven beginner routine, these are made to give the best results, some good routines would be- Starting Strength, BabyLover's Starting Strength, AllPro's Beginner Routine, StrongLifts 5x5, IceCream Fitness 5x5, Fierce 5, or Coolcicada's Push/Pull/Legs.
Read into those and pick the one you like best.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

cutting first is retarded the guy isnt obese. Just slow bulk focusing on strength gains then cut, you will look good. cutting first dafuq.
Now that someone said cut this guy is going to ignore everyones advice, will attempt some high protein no carb bs diet to get abs and end up benching 20lbs after 6 months looking like a marathon runner. whatever glLast edited by keyboardmonitor; 10-04-2014 at 03:00 AM.
