Usually half a baked potato or some oatmeal. Nothing heavy. Post workout is:
16 oz whole milk
1 scoop whey gold standard
2 tbsp dextrose
1 tsp creatine mono (5mg)
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2-3/4 cup icecream
Split into 2 doses that I drink about an hour apart. The 2nd dose is w/ or after my meal.
I've never had a problem with this shake and I've been taking it for a couple months. Could it be that I need more cardio and my heart rate is getting ridiculously high, and then my system is shocked until it recovers/settles down?

In on this!! I've struggled with being skinny all my life and still consider myself pretty small. Absolutely hate when I get called skinny, especially these days. Wanted to share a little bit about my journey thus far..
This is more or less the appearance I kept all through high school up until I was about 18 or 19 years old. I'm about 6'0 and 135 pounds there. I've always been a naturally skinny guy and I suppose it made me an easy target to get picked on earlier on in child hood. That was one of the things that drove me to make changes.
Spent my early 20s lifting with no real direction, just looking to get bigger. I was able to get my body weight to hover around 150 for these years until I finally had enough and was ready to get serious about transforming my body.
To the left is me right before I started a serious routine and diet and to the right is just about one year later, just this past September. I'm about 170 pounds in that most recent picture and having this comparison makes me realize how far I've come and how far I've yet to go! Currently on my second serious bulk, weighing in just above 190. I've learned a lot of things along the way but I'm happy to finally be shedding myself of that "skinny" label.
Here's a video version of the above!:

I just joined the BodyGroup =)
My name's Nick, Im from Germany and I would like to get bigger
to be more precise right now I'm 73-74 kilos at 1,82 m and 15 % BF
Goal is to be around 82-85 kilos and have maximum 10 % BF (better 8 )
My body doesnt gain muscle easily, so this should be good for me
the only thing my body does quickly is establish these 15 % BF, not more, and loose weight if i have stress -.-
Hope you will be around for my journey, pictures will follow soonPlease get friends with me on BodySpace / Follow my transformation
I wanna share as much knowledge / motivation / encouragement as possible
Thank you for being there!

My university just emailed me this.
"My university"-Exercise & Sport Sciences Program is currently recruiting subjects for a new food supplement study. The new project seeks healthy college-age men and women, who do not currently participate in a structured exercise program, as research subjects. The food supplement to be studied is β-alanine. Each subject’s project involvement will last approximately 2 months.
Maybe I should go tell them I don't workout so I can get some free Beta Alanine. "Bro, I don't even lift", lol.
Welcome to the group! We all encourage each other here. The first things you should do is really examine your diet and see how many calories you're actually eating a day. A lot of "hardgainers" are also under eaters. I know I am, especially when I'm stressed. When I am stressed out I eat less and less, so it's a constant struggle to maintain and gain weight. Are you on any specific workout program yet?My log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=149523363

My first week log is done, today was the last day, until I start a solid program/routine, I'm still searching around, man, I kind of have a gut a little bit, but for my weight, I shouldn't probably worry about that stuff currently.

Been very sick for an entire month, and finally had the energy to go to the gym today. Body weight dropped to 160lbs.
Squatted 170 3x5 and deadlifted 275x5, man does this suck Lost nearly 100lbs on my squat.
Was planning on hitting a 405 DL in march, but that is going to be postponed quite a few months while i work my way back up.
Sucks, but sh*t happens.▪██─────██▪ Ivanko Barbell Crew #70 ▪██─────██▪

I am starting on Mark Rippetoes SS program, purely because that is what is recommended to beginners.
First goal is to learn how to do all the lifts in the program with good form.
Then, for all of Jan, Feb, March and April I am going to try and put on a lot of weight and gain both strength and muscle.
My overall goal is to reach a size that I am happy with, a size that suits football (soccer) so obviously not massive.
Also, to work on my speed and agility.
I want to become quick, explosive and strong.
Also want to look good!
