Yes. I was at 280, now at 200. even though I have 20% body fat, i look skinny in clothes.
I get a lot of attention from girls as well including the girls I wanted when I was fat. I'm a celeb / fashion photographer and i noticed a lot of new and my old models hitting on me constantly. I can't wait to get down to single digit body fat. i can't even imagine what's going to happen then..

People treat me different i always get compliments now.
Even though im skinny fat i look real lean in my clothes because my physique is changing.
I just need to get my diet in order so i can take it to the next level.

man, i tell you every time i do this it works! whenever you get a look from a chick, just look at her eyes and smile, then look away. almost evertime ive done this ive actually had the girl confront me... i dont even have to do the akward advancement anymore...
one thing that sucks though is i still have loose skin on my chest so id never take my shirt off in the bedroom, lol... i gotta tell this girl im about to sleep with some stupid lie about how its bad luck for me to let anyone see me with my shirt off before i cut down to single digit bodyfat... lol, man im a loser in that aspect... i really need that surgery, i cant wait to show off my muscles, lol!MY PROGRESS PICS 330lbs-50%bf to 225lbs 19.5%bf

Hey guys, this is probably a bit off topic, but i just wanted to say tht this thread inspired me to join bb.com and do something about my weight. My story is a bit different in the sense that I actually went from being most wanted guy in high school to currently fat slob in university, and i think in many ways thats a lot worse than having never been in shape at all. I NEVER had a problem with girls while at school (and in excellent shape) at my best physique i actually had one of the hot dancer chicks (NOT strippers, just a hip hop dancer) at one of the nightclubs here offer to buy me a drink, sayin she noticed me while dancing! And now someone like her wouldnt notice me if i set myself on fire in the middle of the club. Sad but true, anyways hope i can change this cycle of yo-yo dieting and exercising and get serious about losing weight and getting in shape!
Cheers

I've been there. I'm actually still there and trying to get back. At my best, I was at 12% and 190 lbs. Now I'm 200 lbs. and 18%. I've not only gained a lot of fat, but lost muscle and strength as well. But knowing that I've done it before gives me motivation to get back there and further.

I lost only about 25kg of fat (which is not much compared to some of the others) but I actually felt more confident before I lost weight. There's a sick irony in that.

Well when your dieting you feel weak. Albeit for a greater cause, it can still be erosive, plus people saying all sorts of stupid stuff like "are you sick or something" or "where's the rest of you"
Does go back to the whole ignore other people idea, but it's hard when ya hear it over and overPSN:RuggerIrish

Well some of the other posters said that they became quieter in group situations once they lost the weight, but that was mainly cos they didnt need to be the loud fat guy anymore, maybe the same things happened to you and you just think that the 'quietness' is due to lack of confidence...?

I still not that ripped or slim but I lost 25 pounds and these 3 mouthy relatives who didn't really respect me and didn't take me seriously when I was 25 pounds heavier, kind of shut up everytime they see me now.

This thread truly rocks! The stories are so inspiring and motivating! I love it! Congrats to all the transforamtions!
I remember being an regular goer to an Aeorbics class and I thought the instructor was amazing! I thought she had the most perfect body! A couple of years later when a new gym in the chain opened, she saw me and asked me what I had been doing because I looked so great! That was a major highlight!Journal but the 2020/2021 ed. ---> https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=141049421

Yeah I'm impressed with all these stories. I've never been fat myself, I'm just trying to lose a couple of pounds in order for my six pack to be visible this summer. What really surprises me though is the number of people on this forum who lost substantial weight! Does that mean that all these obese people out there are just lazy?

no it just means that some just dont care, think its too hard, dont want to change their eating habits. and others just arent aware what proper nutrtion is.
it all comes down to the individual. some people have the strength and determination to get it done, and other just dont. some think they can diet for a month or two and they are all set and ready to go. just to be back to the same spot a few months later or in worse shape than before.

Yea...Phabphour is right...They assume fat free = I can eat or drink as much of this as I want.
Although some people use food as their drug...which is sad. I remember seeing a preview for the show intervention and it was a teenage guy who was addicted to food...it was pretty out of control!Journal but the 2020/2021 ed. ---> https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=141049421
