    Quinoa - Super Food?

I've been eating it for months now and wanted to share. I apoligize if others have already posted about it The only thing bad that I have heard about it is that it is acidic, but I'm not sure if there is truth to that. Discuss.

Yeah, it's good stuff. Makes a nice pilaf.

Edit: Yes, I guess it would be considered acidic -- but so is every other type of grain.

Quinoa is a great substitute for rice or other grains and has a unique taste. It even makes a nice hot cereal with milk and raisins/nuts. It's also a complete protein.

quinoa is great. sometimes i make a salad out of it. it's 12% to around 18% protein and it contains an almost perfect ratio of the 8 essential amino acids.

Honestly I've never heard of this before I read an article mentioning it today. Where would one go about buying this?
