I've been told that Muscle Milk and Mega Milk are virtualy the same thing. Mega Milk is cheaper but it dosn't taste as good. Im buying some Mega this week. Its supposed to be good stuff to take before bed. Mix with milk.

I think Muscle milk is a product that should be used sparingly due to the fat content.(good fats, bad fats, whatever) It will get pretty costly if you use it as your main protein source or for a meal replacement. I think a lot of people LOVE the taste of muscle milk and it is a protein that can be used consistently. Although using it a few times a day, it will only last you a few days as well. I do like it for a shake before bed. It curbs sugar cravings and I am satisfied. Other than that, if you are looking for it to do what the label claims, Im not so convinced.

I just use muiscle milk as my protein throughout the day mixed with oatmeal, honey, peanut butter and also for bed plain. Its a great protein and tastes really good .. IT does get expensive cuz it runs out pretty quick with only 15 servings.

It is a great product if you are bulking but if you are cutting it has a little to much calories in it for that. But the stuff taste great that is for sure.

Honestly, some people love it...some people hate it, mostly because of the fat. Personally, I used to use it all the time...for about 4 months straight, and did not see any unusal fat gains. I'm actually most likely going to buy a couple tubs this week, and start using it again.

Muscle Milk
I love Muscle Milk. Chocolate and Mocha Joe both taste great, but I got really sick of the taste of Banana Strawberry after a few servings.
The problem with Mocha Joe is that it contains caffine, so you can't take it before you go to bed. The good thing about Muscle Milk in general is that it is not just Whey protein, so you don't absorb it all in a couple of hours.Last edited by WavyGravy; 12-30-2005 at 07:43 PM.

Muscle milk is more of a casein protein so its better to take throughtout the day, or just before bed, not immediately after workout or in the morning. Casein is absorbed slower than whey so to answer your question yes and no.
