My coach slipped 2 disks.
If the doctor says you need no therapy then your best beyt isd to get back to squatting very slowly.
You have to be extremely concious of your body and aware of everything going one, little niggles and pains are a big risk.
A slipped disk is irreversible, but you can train around it very easily.

I slipped my disk doing heavy hack squats i could hardly walk for a couple of months, i started doing alot more stretching for my back and concentrating on strict form when squatting this was 1 year ago and knock on wood no troubles so far so best advice is let it heal i worked out my upper body but laid off leg and lower back work for a few months like the doctor advised and when you do get back into it dont rush it, i was tentative to squat again etc however im since hitting new pbs on squats and thats going to below parralel. Hope the post helps.
