Hello
I was wondering what is the importance of flax seed oil? I know it has a large amount of calories but is there any other effects of taking it? I looked it up in the forums but everyone just takes it in there weight gainers and stuff. Also Zinc, i see that it is used to replenish the zinc in your body and to bring your testosterone to normal levels. So this supplement should only be taken at night? What else does this supplement do since so many people take ZMA? also one last nutritional question. Do you guys eat before you go to sleep when bulking?
Thanks

some SUPPLEMENT questions

1. Flaxseed oil is a good source of healthy fats, including essiential fatty acids. The essiential there means that your body cannot produce them on its own so you have to eat them.
2. Gainers are junk
3. Zinc is good if you are zinc deficient, which is possibel if you train heavily and skimp on your diet. You can take regular zinc at night but I think that copper(or some other mineral) inhibits your body's absorption of zinc -- so it's best to take it separate from your multivitamin.
4. When bulking I try to take in some slow digesting protein before I go to bed. Good choices include cottage cheese, meat and protein blends with casein.

I consider EFA's to be the most anabolic nutrients in existent and sadly underated. By religously supplementing with CLA and flaxseed oil(omega-3, 6 and 9) one will notice steady improvements over time in their physique.
UDOS Choice makes a great dietary essential fatty acid formulation if you are interested.

eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are both members of the omega-3 group of essential fatty acids. EPA and DHA are found in fatty fish such as salmon, herring and fresh tuna. They have many health properties and are highly protective against sudden cardiac death. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is an omega-3 fatty acid found in flaxseed and flaxseed oil. ALA can be converted to EPA in the body by the liver. EPA, in turn, can be converted to DHA. It should be noted that not a very significant amount of ALA converts to EPA. So you are right fish oils should be an important part of the diet for health and longevity purposes. And I did not forget. :-))

VPX thinfat is liquid CLA. looks like a very good price unlike other VPX products. I asked a question about its effectiveness versus he gelcaps a couple days ago but nobody seemed to know.

well The 240cc bottle of thinfat has 60 servings supposedly supplying 4.4 gms of CLA each serving, and it costs about $25. now if it is true then the price blows away any other product in the market I ve seen. but the wierd thing is on the supplement fact it says that total fat per serving is 4.4 gms with 600 mgs monounsaturated and 3648 mgs of polyunsaturated fats and then it says 4.4 gms of CLA. Now how in the hell the whole 4.4 gms amount of fat can be CLA considering 600 mgs of 4.4 gms is monounsaturated.
well if u guys look at the product information on bb.com u ll know what i am talking about.

I have read somewhere that in liquid form CLA looses its effectiveness, it has to be in gelcaps
i dont remember where i read this but i think somebody posted it on sytranx board.
also u dont like VPX products?? well i dont either cuz of their prices but their CLA is so damn cheap and the only one in liquid form rather than gelcaps.

90% of this board rates VPX as a scam company. But, i have tried some of their products(like Clen). I only use oils that are cold pressed and freshness dated. Hopefully my trip to the heath foods store will yield me some results.
