Tell your mom that since it's just protein, it's the same thing as eating meat.
Protein powder = concentrated milk, in essence. There's no difference. If she lets you eat meat, she should let you take protein powder. This account was created for the purpose of roleplaying and satire. Tell her protein is made from food. In essence all protein comes from food. Do analogy of a protein shake equaling say 2cans of tuna, and say how much easier it would be to have a shake instead of so much tuna. Tell her its insane and its like her saying you cant eat meat, fish, eggs, milk etc....

Basically, if she counters with, well if its like eating meat, why don't you eat meat after workout? Whey is a very fast digesting protein which gets to your muscles very quickly. It's necessary to get protein in after workout as soon as possible for good results.

the only way protein is bad for you is if it hurts your kidneys
this is true however its the concentration of protein going through the kidneys for instance dark yellow pee is not good bc theres a high concentration of crap thats why after drinking alot of water it comes out clear no matter wuts being pissed out the majority is water thus less protein while be concentrated at going through your kidney at a time second protein wont even touch ur kidney unless its not being used workout and make ur body need that protein no kidney damage also keep it under 2 grams of pound per bodyweight and who cares she can ask a doctor about that but dont just ask one if its safe 2 take supplements they will say no
