For those that do deadliffs on back days, do you do it at the start of your session or at the end? Or somewhere in between?
Opinions and tips welcome!

Last.
Most of my back workout usually comprises mainly compound movements (T-bar rows, bent over barbell rows, lat pulls, etc.) and I think if I did DL's first, the rest of my workout would suffer."Motivation alone is not enough. If you have an idiot and you motivate him, now you have a motivated idiot."

I always do them first unless I'm squatting on the same day, in which case squats precede deadlifts.
I like to get my barbell rows in before deadlifts, though. Otherwise it's too hard to keep my core stable. They also function as a nice warmup for lifting heavy **** off the ground.
Everything else (pullups, DB rows, cable rows, etc...) doesn't require as much core strength, and I'm not standing up.
I've considered giving deadlifts their own day - I might do so when I get my gym membership down in Florida.Training, philosophy, nutrition and biomedical discussion (2.0): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146797403

No, I'd prefer not to have the other exercises I do that workout to suffer. Deadlifts, in my humble opinion, will have more of a negative effect on the rest of my movements if I did it first than vice versa.
That's not to say I don't change up the order of my exercises every once in a while to shock my muscles. For the most part, though, DL's are last."Motivation alone is not enough. If you have an idiot and you motivate him, now you have a motivated idiot."
