well, the majority of people's anyway.
is it pretty much as soon as you go to school, or maybe even before that. when you're taken away from your parents so they can go make money

now it just happens as soon as you join the internet world and instantly start comparing yourself with the best people at everything in the world .
Thus you give up on everything and stop even trying.....whats the point of learning guitar if you'll never be better than that 12 year old on tik-tok from estonia? give up now
whats the point of lifting and looking better if you'll never be above a 5 compared to the internets chads? give up now
why even study and try to be smart? you'll never be as smart as the 4 year old chess prodigy from yugoslavia on youtube
why even beutify yourself you'll never be hotter than the chicks shaking their ass on tik tok.
the internets social media is destroying society, you were never meant to be able to compare yourself with the best people in the world at everything. no will ever be able to live normal in the internet age....we need to turn back technology to 1995 when no one used it beyond emails."We are as our thoughts have made us; So take care about what you think, Words are secondary , Thoughts live ; They travel far."

I think the fire in people's soul leaves whenever they change/move into a new situation in life where they feel like they can no longer be themselves, whether thats when they become a wagecuck, marriage, kids, or something else. You have to treat those new situations by balancing the responsibility with time for yourself. Getting married was challenging for me in this sense, but after our first year I think I have been able to find that balance again and enjoy freedom while being responsible as a husband. Its hard, most people cant work through those types of things and then die internally.

My soul was crushed at about 25, but I saw the writing on the wall at 18. I knew from day one of working that life was no longer going to feel like an adventure but rather a chore. The only escape is financial freedom and damn it I tried by creating an Amazon FBA business, but failed to scale it enough to escape, so blew through all my cash and now I’m here at ground zero more chained than ever because of inflation. Life sucks. I just want to be 65 so I can retire and be done with this chit.

But "the best" don't get any credit unless they steep their "content" in irony and cultural autism. People are rewarded for being insignificant. Art is essentially treated in a very communist sort of way...instead of creating stuff, people just mimic, lipsync, do a dance, repeat a common piece of slang / popular catchphrase / repetitive slogan, cosplay, etc. etc.
No display of talent is genuine anymore, it's all done ironically. It's like post-modernism has successfully strangled any sort of sincere artistic expression. Memes, TikTok skits / "challenges" and sh!tposting have basically become the foundation of modern comedy. Music has never been so gatekept, with a handful of industry plants dominating any given genre. It's all a wash.
The turds are rising to the top of the milk instead of the cream. And people love how it stinks.
