I don't have a brand specifically, but Tretinoin is the active ingredient (derivative of Vitamin A) and what you get prescribed.

You can go to a dermatologist or one of many online services where you "connect" with a derm and they give it to you. Hims, Apostrophe, Miiskin, Honeybee, Nurx, Curology, etc.

I went to a dermatologist, because I wanted them to check some spots for skin cancer and then I asked about it. I'm not sure if the dermatogist office has a "brand" they work with but the active ingredient is tretinoin. Anywhere from 0.01% to 0.1%. I'm at 0.06%.

I even get the oil free foundation and concealer and still have 2-3 blemishes.

None of us could wear makeup in the psych ward and the women had bad acne. Even still one decent looking guy was all over one woman in her 20s with glasses, curly hair and acne. I thought 2 blemishes were bad but it drove me crazy that I couldn’t cover them up.

My 5 step skin care system can be overwhelming at times in the morning but it’s important to have sunscreen on your face and neck. I used to forget my neck and got sun damage so I use skin lightening cream and micro needling but that’s expensive for something I could have prevented, ugh.

Differin and tret are both retinoids aka derivatives of Vitamin A (edit: tret is the strongest/closest form, so that is why even at 0.1% it's very strong). How long did you try tret for? if you already have acne you WILL have an outbreak even worse than before for 1-2 months, but eventually it will fade (google tret uglies or retinoid outbreak). If not, I suggest you change your diet and lose weight.

We know older women don't get as much attention, so when they get it they'll eat it up more. Plus we know life has probably thrown them a lot of curveballs (like it has for all men who aren't trust fund babies), with life less on easy mode and so we know they're less concerned about some sort image to maintain than a ripe 22 yr old is concerned. The 22 yr old also probably has a couple of girlfriends cockblocking, whereas the 35+ woman does not. She's more likely either out by herself or with more life experienced friends who encourage her to get dicked down by a younger guy.
