They can be. My grandparents had one, but he wasn't raised as a hunting dog he just lounged around and got fat. He was super friendly to everyone....even the burglers that broke into their house when they were out of town. He was on camera giving them a ball to play fetch, lol.

Farm dogs are farm dogs - they rarely see a vet, they aren't allowed inside, etc. They often get knocked up and if the litter isn't wanted it is disposed of rather than them trying to give the puppies away.

That's my biggest issue with it. She didn't have to do that. She could have found it a home. She had the means. But it looks like she lost her temper and killed it.

Not good for a potential leader. And again I like her policies but to me this is a red flag.

After her father died in a farming accident - she went to school / then left early to help run the farm- she's the one that expanded out the hunting lodge - and later restaurant idea- she was grinding for a while - and this was a business.
