I never carry cash. It's a risk I don't need to take. I am also VERY well-known in the places I go such as restaurants, cafes, even luxury boutiques..etc so even if the network is not working or whatever. I could simply drop by later and pay. I am trusted with up to a few millions without paying or signing anything srs. My face speaks money and trust.

I only carry my phone always (Apple Pay) and gun if I am back in USA.

Dead-srs. I could walk in on many of the boutiques, load almost everything they have and not pay anything.

Happens quite a bit too, because I forget my phone at times and of course I am not going to go back and forth to get it and pay them on the spot, so I pay whenever I pass by again.

Edit: It is a good day for any shop owner or brand when I walk into their store. srs

There are stores that refuse to accept cash now. 10 years ago it was more likely for stores and restaurants to refuse credit cards.

When is the last time any of you tried buying anything over a few hundred bucks in cash?

It doesn't even have to be a lot, but try buying something even 2-3k in cash and people get very suspicious. So many places do so little trade in cash now, that they freak out over anything other than very small amounts.

People are more and more in my area, big tourist area in the south. Ive had parties have 1000-1200 checks and pay cash. they save 3.5% in CC fees alone paying cash, talking like 30-40 bucks for simply using a credit card.
