Covid-19 in its original form had serious effects on the immunocompromised and vulnerable.

Society out of an abundance of caution largely shut down.

Certain states opened faster than others. Those that opened slowly relished the idea of new power from medical emergencies and pushed a narrative that covid would kill everyone it came within a mile of (hyperbole).

The vaccine was great for those that covid actually threatened, and never should have been pushed on the general population, but see above. (and no, asymptomatic infection did not spread covid)

Democrats used covid to push hard into mail-in ballots because, according to Jimmy Carter, and most other civilized nations, "Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud." And the deep state and Democrats would do whatever it took to beat Trump.

When Trump was winning bigly in all swing states, counts were stopped, people were sent home, barriers of sight were put in place, lights were turned off, and suddenly absentee ballots were "found" in just great enough numbers to defeat Trump.

There was no pandemic in the context that we were told. If there was a pandemic in the context we were told, there would have been dead people lying in the streets across America, not even having been able to make it to the hospital on time. There would have been sh*tloads of ambulances all over the place transporting deathly ill people. No such thing happened. If you didn't own a TV like the Amish, there was no narrative to believe like MSM and Govt. were demanding everyone to be terrified of while waiting for Big Pharma to "save them". There was something going around that ONLY affected people if they were intellectually bankrupt with respect to how to take care of their own health.
