Lol @ buying new vehicles
Brb paying 6 figures for a vehicle that is designed to break down every repair will be insanely expensive because it takes a damn engineer to work on it and the government can shut it down with a kill switch after reading your misc historyThat ain’t Dababy that’s Basedbaby!

Toyota's and Honda's are reliable but American comfort and tech ****s all over them. If you want to buy a truck/SUV and drive it 10 or 15 years with relatively few problems Toyota or Honda is the way to go. But if you like newer, more luxurious vehicles with better features & technology American is the way to go.
Between my friends and I, we've had lots of exposure to all of the brands. All of my friends are in Ford now. Even the former Chevrolet and Dodge fans. I was always a Ford guy but am currently in a GMC. No complaints but I also baby my truck. I'd be hesitant to go with a GMC/Chevy again until my hardcore Chevy dudes go back to those trucks.
I've had Ford, Toyota & GMC. For work have driven, Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet. Still partial to Fords.
I've observed a shift in attitudes towards vehicles in my life-time. I can remember when people would shop for a vehicle they'd basically be looking for whatever they could afford. And they literally drove it until they couldn't anymore. Nobody was buying new vehicles because they 'wanted' something new. Even fairly wealthy guys would be driving a 10 or 15 year old vehicle. They might have bought it brand new and went with a high trim. But they held it for years.
Now people are buying new vehicles every 3-5 years simply because they want it. Cost doesn't even factor in. Only if they can afford the monthly payment.

GMC crew checking in. Unfortunately I’m driving a pos ford atm , but definitely would buy a brand new GMC truck if I could.
Personally they’re getting a little weird looking in the front end , but one hell of a truck regardless.
I’ve owned 3 GMC square bodies before , all 4x4 . A 77 and 81 step side ,and a 84 fleet side .
Here’s an old pic when I owned my 84 . Should have kept .
Would be so cool to see old school and new parked beside one another
Make Misc great again

looks good, I've been a fan of smaller trucks lately, if I got a truck it would be a ford maverick

There is just something unique about GM trucks with the Sierra being the cream of the crop (denali hnnngg). It's just something about them. GM is generally a garbage car company but when it comes to the GMC Trucks, they are like Benz.
Oh, and toyota bros, just STFU about a v6 (v dick) with turbo's making the same power and all, it's just not the same feel as a V8, especially a pushrod V8. Just the easy, instant, effortless low end grunt torque of a pushrod V8 that really contributes to the trucks drivability.
