People I know that are religious seem pretty moral
Purple haired liberals and low test cuck atheists are getting annoying
The only thing I seem to share with that group is lack of faith.

There are no sides, it is irrelevant.
Just do whatever it is you find value in while you wait for your turn to die.
Don’t over complicate it.

The Quran is the extension of Torah and New Testament. It’s the final book of the Abrahamic scriptures. The Quran is multidimensional in the sense of how to govern ourselves in every facet of our lives.
Buddhism doesn’t believe in the supreme God, but multiple deities who they believe are enlightened, that’s a conflict from my point of view.أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله و أشهد أن محمد رسول الله

Religion has traditionally served some useful functions in terms of providing a framework of values, mutual understanding and trust. A sense of belonging to a community has intrinsic value. There's also that mortality aspect where as people age and the reaper draws closer, even ardent atheists begin to wonder/hope. Unfortunately in today's world it remains a net negative due to the endless, pointless bloodshed in some parts of the world - all for nothing. You've got to think about it for yourself and decide if/how it might fit into your life and work for you. Most Western churches are by necessity becoming more flexible and tolerant today.

1.) There is a reason practically all civilizations and societies throughout history have embraced faith in a Higher Power.
- this is evident by historical records
There’s also a reason that deterioration in that connection is often accompanied by collapse of the civilization.
- this is also evident by historical records
As far as your statement about our current civilization, you would have to define what metrics you are using to declare it the highest civilization to have ever existed. Our physical and mental health is absolute trash and getting worse by the year. People are less capable of critical thinking, problem-solving, and being social than the vast majority of humans who’ve existed before now. And finally, even if you do still say this is the highest form of civilization despite the tons of issues, there is a very strong case to be made that in its current form it is collapsing. Actually, it seems pretty apparent that it is collapsing thanks in large part to some of the issues I’ve highlighted above.
So both of my points still stand.+positive crew+
-we all gonna make it, but what it is is up to you crew
-all things in moderation, even political views crew
-support local farms crew
-try to do at least one good deed/day crew
-less cursing the darkness and more lighting candles crew

I’m a grown up. I accept responsibility for my decisions.
Too bad belief is a compulsion, not a choice. I might choose to believe in the boogie man for comfort or whatever.
Unfortunately I just have to understand the only thing that actually exists is now, and everything else is imaginary including the idea of hell.
And when I live like that, I find myself having and sharing more love and compassion than most religious people I know so tell me what difference belief makes.
Like I am five and have an extra chromosome.I only read thread titles and my own posts.
