I am on board. I am currently in a holding pattern trying to maintain my weight while enjoying summer activities. However back in December I started at around 190 lbs (I am 5'10) and I am currently around 167 lbs. By the end of the summer it would be nice to get down to 160 lbs. Making this a marathon and not a race. Learning that eating at maintenance for a while makes life much more enjoyable between cut cycles.

I am in at 169 lbs this week. A slight gain but I am still on a diet break and had some fun at the local summer fair as I was planning to do. Gained 3.5 lbs in one day! Back in the day that would have messed with my head but I realize most of it is water weight and its already coming back off.
I started at 5'10 190 lbs back in December have been sitting around 166-168 kind of coasting on a diet break. I am ready to jump into another fat cutting phase soon. My goal is to hit 165 then perhaps 160 if I am feeling feisty enough. That would be pretty low to me but I think it's possible.Dec 1 2014: 188.5 lbs

You're at the stage where you want to slow down your weight loss a bit, maybe up to a kilo a week, in order to preserve as much lean muscle as possible.
Yiu will definitely notice your fat dropping here, excellent
You may need to go as low as 100 kilos but you will look very aesthetic by the end of this.
Maybe 6 more weeks of slower dieting

7/18/23 277.6 pounds
I’ve been up and down since May, I’ve been staying with relatives to watch their dogs while they’re gone on trips. I just got batteries for my scale recently, so I can start weighing myself regularly.
I started out below 270 in May and got to around 280 recently, but I just got a five pound container of whey protein isolate so I should be able to get back in track. I ordered pizza six times between May and June, so I’m talking the next month off from ordering it. This should get me back on track.Exercise will get you through times of ill health better than no exercise will get you through times of good health.

If you weren't flexing at all, around 17%
So probably somewhere between those tao numbers
You're really not far off from getting lean, this next part is just a bit slower

Yeah sounds reasonable. I was flexing my stomach a bit. Plan is to continue for these 6 weeks, mayybe a little longer if I feel like it, then bulk at ~400 cals above maintenance aiming for 1,5-2kg (~4lbs) gain per month for the duration of winter until a bw of 110kg or a little higher (~245lbs), after which I set aside 3 months to cut down to 12% bf (probably at 100kg or hopefully slightly over) until next summer begins, which should be doable. Sounds good?

In theory more or less
Increase up to (but not exceeding) 0.5% bodyweight per week while training with progressive overload
Try to be consistent for at least 6 months
However, we aren't fitness professional and life may throw you unexpected circumstances that take precedence over your plans
So be open to the possibility of having to alter your plans

I think it's just the ideal "goon lighting"
When I get below 190 lbs, my striations will become noticeably detailed and defined; one of the perks of being natty is not having issues with water retention when lean
Also the love handles will basically be gone as I get closer to 10%

New Year's Resolution this year was to generally improve my health. I know lots of people have trouble sticking to their resolutions, but every time I've made one I have made a point to follow through, even if it takes significant lifestyle chances.
Started going to the gym in January, but didn't take diet and nutrition seriously until March. 5'11" male, weighed in at my all-time high of 266.5 lbs on March 18.
April 1 - 260.5 lbs
May 1 - 248.4 lbs
June 1 - 240.3 lbs
July 1 - 233.9 lbs
August 1 - 218.9 lbs
And as of yesterday, 214.4 lbs! Huge milestone for me as this is my first weigh in below an obese BMI in nearly two years. Goal is 175 by the end of the year!
