Considering that I worked my ass off for decades and am fully reaping the rewards now, I'd say my life is more fulfilling than it ever has been. The thought of suicide is never even a fleeting one. Way too much to live for. Even though I understand why people would consider it when things seem bleak, always remember it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It might not seem like it at all, but there's always something better.

I agree mostly. But at the same point if I was in a care home with severe pain and going to die soon anyway I would rather go ahead and throw that dollar away. After working in one I can say it’s not worth living for me at that point. Not worth the angst for my children delaying it either.

I'm not suicidal. About a month ago a guy on my street with a wife and 3 kids blew his brains out. He seemingly had a great life. It made no sense to me.
