Most libertarians would think a COVID epidemic is just furher confirmation for the Local Knowledge Problem as described by Hayek.
Individuals and private communities are automatically incentivized to act rationally (just like any free market operation). At risk groups would impose lockdowns on themselves, nursing homes would also take protective measures. Those who demand more protection from virus will create a new market for said demand."it's likely one of us will have to spend some days alone"

You too are trying to minimize the actions of the mob. What is your agenda here?
Why did the mob have to break windows to get in? Why did they have to battle police to get in? I’ll bet if someone breaks a window and enters your home you’d consider them dangerous. So why not the mob breaking into the Capitol?747 Driver

Waooooh... Back the Trump wagon up there Stumpy
Who said anyone deserved to die?
Just like the Rittenhouse victim, the Rioter Lady didn't deserve to die..
They were both incidents where people put themselves in very compromising situations and ended up getting killed as a direct result of their actions.
They could both still be alive, but you know..Stupid games
Unfortunate and tragic yes but I don't think either of them deserved to die.Air Force Veteran 1976 - 1999 - Cannabis Enthusiast since the 1960's

Tommy's agenda is to see how many stupid things he can say in one thread. He's quite good at it too. But make no mistake hes a fuking idiot.
And this guy claims he's a lawyer too. Has very little grasp on the simplest of words and almost zero critical thinking skills.
Yup that about sums up their defense of 1/6. If you don't fall in line and bend the knee you're a "lefty".
The same lot that chants "lock her up" are now big mad that there might be some accountability for 1/6 beyond the Dbags already locked up (LOL fuk them). The same lot that screams "Constitution" if anyone dare say changes need to be made were more than willing to trash it to keep Trump in office.Last edited by NotJtbny; 06-11-2022 at 12:36 PM.

How about this, my lefty friends, Trump knew that the crowd would be infiltrated by FBI plants and people hired to jack up the emotional crowd to "Storm the Capital!" There's plenty of video out there of guys throwing gas on the fire who have had zero legal ramifications for their actions. Hmmm. By this 4th year of his Presidency, Trump was finally savvy to just how low the left goes.
I think this is an excellent thread! Cheers!Envy is ignorance. Imitation is suicide.

Cheers, the video link i posted said 300+ are still being looked for, so that could explain part of your theory.
I don't know any "lefties or liberals" i only know people who self identify as Democrats which is a huge tent or umbrella.

I do enjoy discussing presidential politics but I can’t really say I see much difference in my life from one presidential election to the next. The five or so folks sitting on the city council trying to turn my small town into one large strip mall are much more of a concern to me.

You have been pissier than normal since your soap operas went spanish. Sad
Home Boy needs his Bold and Restless fix
** You know it's all Bidens fault, he is letting all those immigrants cross the border and they almost all speak Spanish, so he is giving them something to watch while they stay in the Hotel you are paying for with your tax contributions.Last edited by mtpockets; 06-11-2022 at 03:02 PM.

They were funny, she looked like the Hamburglar
So what's your point? apparently I am not the only one who thought it was wrong, they themselves pleaded guilty
A US couple who were filmed outside their mansion waving guns at social justice protesters last summer have pleaded guilty to misdemeanour charges.
Mr McCloskey, 63, pleaded guilty to misdemeanour fourth-degree assault and was fined $750 (£538). His wife, 61, pleaded guilty to misdemeanour harassment and was fined $2,000.Air Force Veteran 1976 - 1999 - Cannabis Enthusiast since the 1960's

I have yet to see a single photo or video that shows any blood aside from that of Ashley Babbit, easy to proclaim you were slipping and sliding in blood now as nobody is asking for any proof.
1st person I have ever seen so far thats admitted they voted for Biden.
And tell me why Biden surged when mail in votes were counted?
We aren't North Korea for now, continue down the road with lockdowns, arresting business owners for actually trying to operate their businesses, forcing vaccines on people, limiting travel, food scarcity, etc and we could end up in a similar situation.
Look at all that blood on the floor, hope they have sturdy slip proof shoes.
Lastly, does anyone truly believe Biden garnered 10 million more votes than Obama did?"You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, well, I don't have one of those."

US population 2008 - 304 million
US population 2020 - 330 million
dissect the census info a little, discount those under 18 years of age:
potential voters 2008 - 230 million
potential voters 2020 - 258 million
Add to that the 25% or so of the public that normally is too lazy/apolitical/cynical to vote who disliked President Trump enough to vote.
So when you factor in population growth and turnout, for Biden to get less votes than 08 Obama he’d have to get about 40 percent of the popular vote. Meaning Trump would get almost 60. The last President to get 60 percent was Reagan in 84.Last edited by 7Seconds; 06-12-2022 at 08:12 AM.

And let's not forget the anger of the suburban white women that thought he was yucky. That was the largest group i heard from in this area and trust me they came out in force; then there was the "he handled Covid wrong" crew that turned out. That is a lot of upset anti voters.

Tariffs, selective deregulation, response to protests, immigration policy, inconsistent foreign policy, deficit spending, abuse of public land, using eminent domain to steal private property to build a border wall, removal of Johnson Amendment, firing four IG's who existed for no other reason than to keep the executive branch in check after Nixon, belief that Article II of the constitution let's him do, to quote, "whatever I want". Also, his failure to act against the surveillance state in any meaningful way, not to mention more drone strikes, more whistleblower prosecutions, more executive overreach and centralization.
