Is this the only thing you have to talk about in your life? Nothing but drinking threads. Why do you keep needing to fish for validation? The misc is not AA. It's great you're finally realizing what a waste it is/was. Keep doing it for yourself, if you really feel the need to get recognition for it, join an advocacy group or something.

I'm in keto and I drink like a tank. Vodka only with sugar free cranberry juice as a chaser (best chaser ever, clears alcohol from your mouth really well)
With that said, I'm a crippling alcoholic. But it turns my imagination on crazily when I smoke weed with it. And I do cool stuff with my imagination. You are your thoughts. Life is perception, thoughts are perception, perception is reality ergo thoughts are reality, I think therefore I am.

Definitely need to slow my roll now. Some weekends I'd drink Sat and Sun, especially for some venues near the local Universities which have Sunday brunch. Some weekends even though I work late I'd include Friday night as well.
The last time I took a worthwhile break was last year. The intent was to stop drinking for a month, but ended up extending it out to 45 days srs.
The best thing about not drinking, is you feel less guilty eating higher quantities, or even less healthy chit. Not to mention saving money, no more hangovers, better hydrated all the time, and simply looking healthier in terms of your face/skin.
The pro-move in general is to switch from beer or unhealthy cocktails to liquor mixed with zero calories beverages. But it's a slippery slope unless you actually measure your drinks. And usually when you come to the decision of doing this and making it a habit you've likely realized you've already gone too far lol.
I'm planning a solo trip on a 5-7 days cruise in June or July, so I definitely want to be at my leanest for it at least.i7-14700k

I haven't and feel great. Not much desire to either. Been sober off the green too ( legal state ) which has been reasonably harder as I miss it more but feels good to be busy and not think about it as much; however, despite it not getting in the way as much when I am trying to be productive. I feel like I am having a harder time "turning-off" on the weekends and some-days after work without it despite going to the gym...etc

I usually go a month or so between drinks. It makes me feel like garbage the next day or two and gives me anxiety.
It's nice to "take the edge off" but not worth the bad feeling the next day, even if I only had like two drinks. I haven't drank liquor in at least 6 months; that just ruins me for 3-4 days.Life is easy when you take personal responsibility
