Nah he didn’t look awful. Had some up and down moments for his first 2 drives and then really started playing better.

His composure was outstanding and that bodes very well.

He looked awful in the first half. Not surprised at all he does well in the 2nd when all of Miami's back ups are in the game.

Mitch's first ever pre season game looked like this:

18/25 170 yards 1 TD; 3 rushes 38 rushing yards

Mitch's rookie pre season was solid and ended up throwing for 300+ yards, 3 TD's and 0 int' and look how he ended up.

He led them to their first score at the end of the 1st half. And he also had horrible field position to start.

Also, Fields wasn’t playing with ones on his side either. And whenever anything bad happened Mitchell folded, Fields bounced back after a slow start and dominated.

Watching the game. Haven't seen him throw a single pass that wasn't a check down or a slant. Throwing that ball to a check down on 4th and 11 before the 2 minute mark was cringe. at least give your receiver to make a play in a blow out game. Who cares if you end up with an inteception.


I love you ohiostate but we will be bumping heads on fields all year long <3 nothing personal. Just don't think fields will pan out.
