    Question Selling Dumbell

    Hello

I'm looking to selling my dumbbells. I have the following set similar to the link provided. My dumbbell weights include

    https://www.ironcompany.com/cap-barb...-hex-dumbbells

    Pair Each of 10,12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 50, 55 lbs.

What is a good price for all the dumbbell overall?

    Thanks

A reasonable asking price might be $600 to $700 as typically this type of dumbbell goes for $1 per pound. You have a total of 674 pounds, $1 per pound would be $674. You could list it at $674 and see if anyone is interested, and if not gradually lower your asking price until you start garnering interest. Non pandemic, these dumbbells go for about 50 cents per pound, which would be $337.

I'd see if anyone else nearby was selling something similar or better. If so, I'd undercut their asking price by a little or match if their price seems low.

If you don't have any competition, I'd list them at retail (or close) and see what offers I get. You can always reduce the price if they don't sell. Dumbbells and plates are still in high demand here in Seattle.

It depends on where you live. Here in the northeast you'd get $1.50/lb easy. At $1/lb you'd have people trampling each other to come get them.

Where I live, plates are a minimum of 2 bucks a pound and dumbbells like the ones you linked to are $1.50 per pound.
