In the one game Gabbert played this year he had the best game he’s had since 2015, and he only played a half. That was statistically the best half of his career.
Bucs have the best receiving core in nfl history you put any QB on this team (with they way the defense is playing now) and anything short of 35 ppg and a Super Bowl is pathetic.Everything I do is biblical

Where stats like these are flawed is the context in which events happen.
A 3rd and 9 conversion in a key moment isn't factored in.
An INT launched downfield on 3rd down when pressure is coming anyway that gets picked all the way back at the 20/25 yard line is as good as what would otherwise be a sack and punt.
Stats are great, but nerds rely too much on them. Anyone with any intelligence can describe the limitations of statistics. It's a nice benchmark but it's never all telling. People who treat them as if they're all telling are idiots."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I agree with you but people do the best vs. greatest thing in NBA too. Jordan being the greatest, LeBron being the best. I would say Jordan is both there.
As for NFL, you can split it in different pieces. Best prime, best peak, best career, most accomplished. Brady takes the cake easily in the last two. The first two? You can argue those.

Best prime vs. Best career is definitely a legitimate difference. Some people prefer longevity over peak. I don't. I would rather have a guy who was the best for like 5 years than a guy who was top 5 for like 10 years.
Drew Brees vs. Aaron Rodgers has a similar argument to that. Brees had longevity argument while Rodgers was a far better prime although at this point Rodgers has probably ended the argument entirely.
Just to be clear I don't think Rodgers is better than Brady in any of those categories. Only guy I think that had the argument of being a better player (not career) is actually Brady's original rival and the only guy who actually was able to win in the playoffs against him.
