The 13 weeks out of the gym was rough... especially as a PT.
I was fortunate to get a rental bar and some bumper plates during the quarantine, but the motivation wasn't there at all. 2-3 times lifting, but limited to the few weights I had.
I have changed from that to getting back to the gym, and despite a lot of people here still being afraid of Covid, I am able to get my workouts back in peace. It also helps that I am working out at 5am with a buddy, when generally nobody else is there!
Would love to try the C4 Carbonated before my earrrrly morning workouts.NASM-CPT

I have to admit, i lost all my gains. Gyms were closed, got super busy with my DiY weights selling business and before i knew it, 6 months passed.
I just started going to the gym again since last week but taking it slow since the DOMs are legit killing me.
Hopefully i can go back to 6 days a week by the end of next week. Starting again at the beginning is tough, lost half my strength and my energy/endurance is mostly gone.
I hope everyone has been doing better than me gains wise.Cobra Kai never dies!

I have been able to keep the cardio on point because nature never went into quarantine but the strength has been harder without a gym. Able to do leg work but not to the same weight, upper body is regulated to the new parks they’ve been installing in our neighborhood but it’s still not the same. I’m hoping more studies get released like yesterday’s showing gym reopenings have contributed to any spread and I can get some buy in to go back. Between being able to go somewhere different to lifting some heavy weight it’s a needed adjustment to my routine.

I had to use a lot of body weight, and resistant bands. I trained at home, and at the park on nice days. It sucked as I missed real weights.
I joined a gym that was 1 hour from me as their county opened up gyms first. I was deciding there 5x a week for another month until my gym opened back up. I was really relying on muscle memory lol. Lost a lot of gains, but it’s slowly coming back as strength is decent again

When they first closed the gym i readjusted and started working out at home. I was lucky the wife had some stuff. The day the gyms opened back up i was the first one there. What keeps me motivated is my family. I want to be the healthiest version of myself for them. Plus i need to be able to keep up with my almost 4 year old. He just keeps getting faster and faster.

honestly, it was chit.... I eat like a horse so I can lift heavy...... gym closure came and i tried to lift with what I had but it didnt suffice and i stopped altogether......... but just with the lifting...my eating didnt.... so turned into full bloat mode..... granted when the gym opened up i didnt loose much strength, but my stamina is crap so I have to make up for it. right now Im lifting but in a more "cardio" sense... more reps less rest building up a nice sweat.
Salty.......... like Extra salty.......

Last minute entry!
Still been good, I have been building up my home gym for several years so I have been lucky.
However, I have added in sandbag training to supplement atlas stone lifts. Thought about getting a stone mold, but decided on heavy sandbags for the same stimulus.Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle...." - Psalms 144:1
