The platforming breaks up the flow in places but the new dash moves make the combat even faster and more demanding.

I can beat Doom 2016 on nightmare, but ultra nightmare (same as nightmare, but no respawns) is a yoke.

Is it the same 5 levels and they just made them all more difficult?

They aren't fukin around with this one, lol. Mauraders and Baron's of Hell within the first 10 minutes of gameplay. Thank God they let you keep your weapons.

Alright I'll be honest, nightmare was hard but reasonable for the base game. In the DLC this ****'s just unfair to the point it isn't even enjoyable at times. They're just throwing unreasonable amounts of enemies at you.

im glad they made it hard from the start. everything is unlocked from the beginning so there is no excuses to start off slow. The 1st 2 marauder fight then arena straight after it, did not expect that.

I was like that too but then you rem he broke the crucible on the Icon of Sin so it makes sense.

That part on nightmare was hard as hell. Everyone was worried about the two marauders but they were easy compared to the fight after.

I enjoy it but it can be way too much at times in terms of enemy waves, what enemies are there, the Spirits and Blood Maykrs can kiss the fattest part of my ass too. Spirits were put in just to force players to use the sh itty microwave beam mod. Overall I give it a 9/10, fun, good expansion of the story, bit too hard at times but that isn't a major issue.

I'll give it an 8.5, its the same as Eternal but ramped up to 11. TBH though imo they ruined the Nightmare difficulty. I finished the original game and the Master levels and enjoyed the challenge but in this game is honestly way too annoying, I got to the swamp part where you could barely see then had to go to UV because there's way to much bs going on in the DLC.

The spirits were cool in theory but are retarded in this game, the microwave beam ruins the pacing and being forced to use it sucks. Also I miss the boss fights in the 2016 where it was just you and the boss. Here they throw way to many things at you while you're fighting them that it takes some of the enjoyment out.

Overall still a great game but I may wait for a sale for the next DLC.

I didn't mind all the chaos during the Icon of Sin fight, but the Gladiator one is ruined by the random enemy spawns... it's due to how resources work in the game, you need to constantly farm fodder to top up on ammo and health/armor.

Freeze Bomb and Ballista Destroyer Blade is incredibly rewarding. Overall, really enjoyed the DLC. 9/10

I didn't mind all the chaos during the Icon of Sin fight, but the Gladiator one is ruined by the random enemy spawns... it's due to how resources work in the game, you need to constantly farm fodder to top up on ammo and health/armor.

I wish they would just make the bosses drop resources in these instances rather than have to farm the fodder around them.

People were losing their minds over 2 Marauders and it's possessed Barons and invisible Whiplashes that are really fuking things up. Inb4 they make you fight a possessed Marauder in part 2 lmao

you do fight a possessed marauder in the blood swamps.... still much harder fights in the game.

You fight one buffed via totem. Possessed (via spirit) demons have faster speed and bigger damage like buff totem ones but also twice the hp and are immune to stagger which is the only counterplay against a Marauder. If you can't stagger a Marauder, you have to do a Benny Hill routine with only getting 1 shot up every time.

That's the part where I turned it down from nightmare to UV. I understand making it more difficult but that section was straight bull****.

1. Foggy as phuck so you cant see ****
2. Those toxic eggs
3. Tentacles
4. Possessed Arachnatron and as soon as you kill it, the game spawns specters to rush you while you're trying to kill the spirit
5. Then the doom hunter spawns with shield soldiers which are hard to see in the fog mentioned.

Any thoughts on TAG - Part 2 DLC?? I thought it was quite a bit easter than TAG - Part 1 prior to the update. I was hoping for more complexity on the Dark Lord boss fight; but overall, I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it but it felt rushed.
