Xtend Perfect 10

Thanks to NEBinAK and the people and Xtend for sending me a tub of the new Perfect 10 Amino product to try. I requested and received the watermelon flavor. Xtend has long been known for bcaa products, this is the first EAA product offered by the company. The EAA blend has been calibrated to mimic the EAA composition of human skeletal muscular tissue. Also included is a blend of 4 electrolytes to help replace what you sweat out during high intensity exercise.



It mixes with ease. As you can see in the photos, no particles floating on top and no foam. Just a few shakes in a shaker cup and it is dissolved. If you had the original Xtend watermelon back several years ago you remember the heavy candy like flavor, this is a much lighter tasting product. Not as syrupy and more refreshing. I first tried it with 10 ounces of water as suggested on the label and it was much to strong. I prefer about 20 oz of water and several ice cubes per scoop of powder. I had my sister give it a taste, too. She isn't a supplement user other than some Gatorade or Powerade. She thought the flavor was pretty good. The temperatures here have been around 90 degrees with a good bit of humidity and the electrolytes in Perfect 10 have definitely been welcome. One small change I'd like to see the electrolyte blend from this product replaced with the blend found in Xtend Hydrasport. I really like the coconut water in that product.

If you are looking for an EAA product to try Perfect 10 is worth a look.

Light, refreshing, and no weird aftertaste. I'm finishing the last of my caffeine free Quake and a scoop of watermelon Perfect 10 mixed with the lemon drop was very tasty.

XTEND watermelon has always been one of their BEST flavors and I have a couple of tubs of Quake
Lemon Drop on hand which I need to crack open but mine have the caffeine cause I NEED that energy
kick for my 5 a.m. workouts.
