My primary bench is the Rogue adjustable 2.0 bench. I think I would like to own a second heavy duty bench. Before everything went crazy I went to a power lifting gym and benched using an Elitefts competition bench press. I really loved that bench so I am considering buying the Elitefts scholastic bench. I really like the gripper pad option and the overall specs of the bench. Has anyone had a positive experience with Elitefts lately? Thanks

Another good thing about elitefts is they have the option of a wide gripper piad also on their adjustable bench.
One thing I wish I would have done with the adj. 2.0 when I did it was use a wider pad, but they wanted it similar to the one they replaced, so I reused the same back pad. And similar seat.Best Raw total 1850 at 181 lbs

Yeah I really like the adjustable 2.0. The pad is a bit firm for me and I think its only 17" or maybe slightly over. I am actually going to order an Ohio power bar from Rogue once they restock so maybe it would make sense to grab a fat pad since I'd already be paying for shipping. I've never used a fat pad before though so i'm not sure how I would like it.
