Hey guys so obviously when you weigh meat of any kind you can weigh out 6oz raw and when you cook it, it can end up going down to like 4oz or less because the water comes out of it and everything like that.
i track my calories on MFP but was wondering for chicken, ground turkey do you guys track 6oz of chicken and weigh it raw or cooked to get 6oz for example?
thanks

I don't weigh it. I just look at the weight of the product on the package label and then go from there. If the package says 16 oz of ground beef and I cook 1/3 of it, I'll count that as 5 ounces. If I get a 10 lb back of chicken leg quarters and there are 10 of them in there, I count each leg quarter as 16 oz.
