Hey everyone, first let me say I hope everyone and their family is safe and no one is sick in any way shape or form. My wife and I both have very itchy throats for days now, but nothing else. NYC numbers are finally going down...
With that said how are you guys maintaining your workouts? (Please not I am not talking about anyone who ha a home gym cause that would just be a stupid question)
I have been working out at home, hit a snag as I had an accident while doing push ups on push-up bars, where one of the bars collapsed under me and my whole body weight landed on it and it hit my ribs. I was out of breath for several minutes and my ribs still hurt right now and this was over a week ago. Funny thing I was recording it to put it on FB so the whole thing was captured on video
However I am starting to shrink no matter what I do and that was expected, so I am asking how about you guys?
Have you lost size? Muscle? Gain/lost weight?
Are you trying to workout at home still or just gave it up all together?

I am not working out at all since quarantine.. I don't have a home gym, over the years I built a couple of real beauties. Never used them much. I need to go out to a gym to train with any consistency.
So i am walking, hiking lots and Cycling a ton and I am totally enjoying it to the max. Loving it. I am losing size and most likely weight, but I am not looking at the scale. I am just going to ride this b!tch out like a champ. lol
Ouch on the accident, hope it doesn't hinder you too much.𝓐𝓲𝓻 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓬𝓮 𝓥𝓮𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓷 1976 - 1999 - 𝓒𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓪𝓫𝓲𝓼 𝓔𝓷𝓽𝓱𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓪𝓼𝓽 𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮 1960'𝓼

Don't have a proper home gym, but I did buy a power tower right when the quarantine started (pull up/dip station) and 1 dumbbell with plates that range from 10-40lb. So not 100% without equipment.
But I'm continuing the cut I started after Thanksgiving, probably losing more muscle than I want to, but the workouts I'm doing seem to be working ok for maintenance. I'm also running a lot, about 4 times/week, so even though I'm getting a little smaller, I feel pretty great fitness/health wise. Hardest part is the diet. All this sitting around 24/7 makes it hard to stick to the deficit sometimes.
Ouch on the rib injury - hope it clears up soon so you can be as active as possible.

I don't know - I've seen some people saying don't worry because muscle memory will bring you back rapidly once gyms re-open...
and then I stumbled on these calisthenics guys and they built their whole physique without free weights - to add to that the Golden Arms dude is in his 40's.
So I'm having to re-think some of this - I do have a modest home gym but I'm thinking about incorporating more calisthenic movements based on what I've seen here.

I have a well equipped gym in the garage. Have not used it much since the lockdown mostly just due to working so much and its been cold. I plan to use it more as things settle as gyms won't be open for awhile IMO. I prefer a commercial gym but glad I have my garage gym now. What is crazy is you can't get any home gym equipment. Checked CL for weigths just for fun and people are paying $2+ per lb for junk. That led me to check around a but more, everyone is out of stock of everything...There are crazy overpriced used equipment now, but that glut of purchases will lead to an INSANE cheap used market when this is over and people are like guess I don't need this anymore...It is just nuts.
Me, I've gained weight I'm about 210. I was taking it easy before this hit due to my shoulder issue. That is finally starting to heal up though (no pain laying in bed anymore). I benched the other day and felt no pain as long as I stay at 225 or less and strict form. But yea this hasn't been good for my body building goals lol. I did order a bunch of whey today, mainly because I think there will be protein shortages coming soon due to major shutdowns, slowdowns in meat processing. I'm not worried about the shortage which will be short term, but could lead to massive price increases for an extended period. Whey has a good shelf life so picking up another 30lbs seemed prudent with current prices not being inflated...

The picture below pretty much sums up my home workouts! I have a few weights along with some bands for descent workouts. In addition, I've been doing a lot of push-ups and body weight exercises...although, I might start pushing my Tundra around this week.

HeadStands may do that, in the begining, it's strength training, gotta feed the beast.
I ate like a MOFO yesterday after my training, Easter dinner (home, quarantined) was late, was about to pass-out, damn near killed the ham myself, all went to my biceps from cheat curls.
I still question how smart it is to be so lean, during times of needing a strong immune system. After I train my throat always feels funky, but with rest and food, my system gets stronger.

Please don't waste egg-yolks during this time eggs are in high demand and people are literally starving.

Got a nice little home gym. Train daily.
I think I’ve put on the Covid 20 though.
Too much access to the refrigerator.
All school lessons now being put online for students.
Several Google Hang Out meetings each day with different groups in our district.
We do food distribution for our school district twice a week, where families can drive up to the school, and we give each family three days of food and milk...per student. If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

It sucks. In the last 15 years, I think two and a half weeks was the longest I'd ever been away from the gym. That record looks like it is going to be smashed by a long shot.
I was going to a park for awhile where they had a dip bar and pull up bar. Unfortunately, the park is now closed due to covid-19. Now I am doing pull ups on basically anything that will support my weight and doing a few pushups here and there. Thinking of doing some box jumps.
Haven't lost any size from what I can tell, but I am pretty sure my strength is going to be in the toilet when I eventually return to the gym. Really envy you home gym peeps about now.It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I have a decent setup at home, 2 bars, squat stands, bench, 500lbs in plates. Before this all went down I worked mainly with DB's and now I have 1 30lb DB lol. I used to have a full rack of DB's.
I've lost size and lost weight, but more importantly I've lost strength and agility. I was dragging a tarp of leaves to the curb yesterday and it was work, before this it would have not even have made my heart rate increase.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.
