I honestly appreciate everyone’s advice in this thread - so here’s an update - I’ve dumped her and have gone NC.

As for her mental health illness it was bipolar disorder and some other crap. She even had a dsibality card in regards to her mental health.

She barely gets along with her siblings and she’s only spoken to her older brother (the eldest) once this year.

Thank you all because you’ve potentially saved me from going in the **** both financially and emotionally

yuck. One of the few advantges of being with a single mom, is that usually they are hot as fuk. They know they need to be at the top of their game in order to get a guy, so usually they try to stay in perfect shape, dress very good, take care of themselves etc just to make the first guy that looks at them to fall in love.

Just over a year - she was the one who proposed to me and I stupidly accepted. Luckily it only got to that point.

I met Mrs Flex when her son was 10, I moved in with them after a year (not married though), and things are still going well for us. Never been happier. No drama with his Dad ever. Not once in almost 15 years. Barely ever see him anymore.

Her son is 24 now, works at my company, hangs out with my won who's the same age and moved in with us last year. They get along, hang out with mutual friends, and train together.

Life is good and I have no regrets.
