bishes love mountaintop sunrises haha
stupid easy little climb. Only called a mountain because everything else is so flat around it: I think elevation is only 700'. trail up was probably 1/2 mile, but there were some fun little ledgy sections and a killer view of the oceanPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Wednesday 12.2.2020: Shoulders
Yesterday's leg session was a sh!t show. Warmed up, got under 140 for my first workset of split squats, second rep and my lower back just cheesed out. Not too bad when I'm standing up, but bending over and standing up from a seated position sucks balls.
Was able to get through pressing today without too much issue. Tossed on my old inzer belt for seated press workset, and that seem to help it feel better. Maybe it's time to start wearing that for split squats.
Silver lining: My inzer fits again- the same settings I had back in 2015 when I was going hard and had the diet on point. I tried it on back in the spring and I would have had to move it two holes to make it fit my gut. Score!

sucks that the low back is tweaked on you. I hate doing that more because of the inconvenience to life outside the gym more than the limiting of lifting.
Go get a good massage and soak in a hot tub for a while!
Solid pressing, especially considering the tweaked back. Glad you found a workaround with the Inzer and glad to hear you found another indication that you are back to your fighting weight! You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

Stinks the low back was acting up. I guess your into real weight with the split squats so its time to use the belt. Thats great about the belt fitting again youve been crushing it!

Mirone those pics bruh!
Weird about the back I wonder what the hell happened? Maybe you need to strengthen the lower QL/Spinal erectors? How about the midsection/abs? Can u do a standing ab wheel rollout? Might have been an overused muscle or possible weak area causing the issue.

those stretches you gave me are helping loosen it up and hopefully will prevent it happening again.

Sucks about the back acting up. Do you hammer a lacrosse ball into the glutes? That always help release my lower back. Also rolling on the psoas for a bit. on the other hand your going to be limber asf when your back feels better

So we hired a new guy at work and after his second day he tested positive for the Rona so I’m on self quarantine for the weekend (we all have to get tested monday)
Back is twingy but I wrecked a nice body weight session to get some blood into the wheels.
Had a sore throat yesterday AM and it’s worse this morning plus a bit phlemgy...
I’ve been camped in my man cave (basement) with a space heater so it could be dry air but I dunno..
On a positive note, I wrapped all the xmas presents I have and cleaned the Arsenal

Sorry you gotta deal with the Rona! chit sucks being stuck to the house all day but you will find that you have the time to get a lot of random chit accomplished lol.
Also, unless you get sick(which I hope you dont) would the quarantine have any effect on your hiking opportunities? Could you go hit up the trails tomorrow if you felt like it?

Hiking
I take it you are back in Maine Woody? I logged in to see what this site has been up to and saw that you are hitting the NH48. I’m currently 57 of the New England 67. All 10 peaks remaining are in New Hampshire and will be completed January. I’ve been chipping away at the hundred highest while working on the 4000 footers too. Hopefully that will be completed this summer. Really hoping to get a single day pemi loop in as well.
How did you like that last 5 miles in Lincoln woods when you did the bonds? On paper it’s super easy, but that was the longest 5 miles of my life!My log ----> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169912553&p=1411140513&posted=1#post1411140513

Thanks dude! Gonna keep the slow weight loss going. I'd like to be in that 10-12% range come April so I'm a quick 8 week strict diet to shredsville
Test was negative so I'm good to go! I would have climbed last weekend but weather was a pile of chit. Just as well, I got presents wrapped and guns cleaned hah
What's shakin guy? I've been back in Maine since 2016 summer. Site just don't update location for some reason.
Which 10 do you have left to smash? I'm at 28/48 now. Opportunities have been few and far between with work and weather lately. Anxious to get the snowshoes and crampons out!
Bonds traverse was incredible but the walkout from Bondcliff sucked haha I would have happily put a gun in my mouth at a few points there. Just kept going and going with no change of scenery or landmarksPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Glad to hear it was negative! I only got one symptom when I had it and I would not wish that on anyone lol. Not being able to smell anything is a chit ton more inconvenient than I thought it would be! I do like that arsenal. No shotgun, though? Just not a fan of them or haven't found one yet that gives you chub?
Lol if you want your location to update, try changing it on the mobile app. One of the other mods clued me in on that being the only way to properly update anything in the profile like avi, height, weight, location, etc.You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

Damn ur pressing is going up fast, nice progress bruh.
Agreed on the lacrosse ball its a must. I have two in my gym, one in my car, one in my backpack, one in my room and two holes in my brand new walls. Totally worth the holes I'll be putting plywood up on the garage wall for rolling. Right now I'm using the outside stucco wall that's fairly smooth and holds up well. Try getting into the side hips / ventrogluteal area and there's this one spot that is hnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg (nh).
Its impossible to keep lifting as you get older without doing mobility work, stretching, deep tissue work, etc. Blows my mind people like Mike O'Hearn are and have been consistently injury free.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240
