Like wolf said, if you're going to do cardio just pick one you enjoy the most. Look at your diet for losing weight. Its waaay easier to simply reduce your calories through diet vs spending a wack of time doing cardio to achieve the same deficit.

It depends on what kind of conditioning you have currently, whether it will get you that "shredded" look for the summer...I wouldn't start out doing traditional tabata (20 minutes balls to wall...rest 10 seconds...20 min. balls..lol...rest...repeat 4x....then 1 minute rest intervals between rounds...average total time...16 minutes...). I'm out of breathe just thinking about it...lol...if you TRULY do "balls to the wall" intensity for EVERY work interval. So, I would try one session per week for now (see how you feel), incorporate a LISS and a slightly less strenuous HIIT session in there...to round out your conditioning...For your aesthetic goals, diet and caloric intake will probably play a larger role with the upcoming season...And WolfRose is right- finding the most enjoyable form of conditioning will help you be more consistent.
