How do these "pros" on trading view and twitter have time to post analysis and charts everyday, I cant imagine they are trading with any substantial amount?

I can tell you with about 75% certainty that this isn't the bottom. There was no bounce. It is a decent looking triple bottom but I'd expect more volume from the bulls. Seems to me we are just hanging on some strong support. If we break down here it's going to be pretty nasty again because I have to go back a long ways to find some more horizontal support. But I think we see some short term relief. RSI is pretty neutral. Coming off a 10% BTC dump which hasn't happened in a while.

I took that red dildo right in the ass yesterday. Granted it was only 10% of my stack at 7100 but damn that hurt. A 5% loss on a trade is bad trading and I should have known better. I got busy building a deck and didn't watch it. Who would have thought our biggest dump in weeks would happen on a Sunday morning. I'm still holding on to it hoping for some short term relief but it was a good reminder why you set stops when catching knives. I'm out if we break 6600.



In a few vids ago Krown and I were talking about TA and crypto. We both agree that TA is even more accurate in crypto now than other assets. Mostly because the bots control the market so much. And those algos are programmed using it. I'm always amazed how accurate it is. Those that argue against it usually don't wait for confirmation and are impatient. Just because price wicks above or below support doesn't mean anything. Wait for the close and it will usually end up there.

Too many monkeys in this thread earlier, when it was a massive bull run telling everyone TA is useless, tricked alot of ppl. Alot of it is useless but definitely some relevant stuff to learn.

Also a lot of TA/market books are very good too read, especially these guys thoughts on emotional control and psychology of markets.

You only got into crypto recently, but seems you know TA reasonably well, very curious if you have been able to make money in this downtrend? Or at least more BTC

OMG is something else. I've never seen something that almost always 100% sells out a pump. I sold yesterday at $10 but it's back down on support again ready for another pump if anyone is interested

TBH the longer this bear run goes on the more i am liking OMG as a potenial long term bag-during the next bull run, IF they can do everything they say around Q3/Q4.

The entire community is delusional too -(ie. their reddit forum), which is always a good thing.

Krown and other TA boiz, have you considered or tried looking at the fluctuations from the point of view where you mostly disregard the more complex indicators and just rely on psychology?
What I mean is, if stock exchange trading sees a lot of the worlds finest bots/minds at play who have been doing this for decades, it is much harder to know what's going to happen next whereas if people invested in crypto(even some of the whales who just got lucky with BTC) are distributed normally with the 3-sigma rule(68, 95, 99.7) that means most of the people are retards when it comes to actually trading.
They base their decisions on the simplest signs(for example "this coin is down 90% this week so it must go up" or "new coin website and team looks cool, lets shove" etc).
Wouldn't it work to throw most TA out the window and just know the psychological triggers for your average pleb?

I think most important is to look at the market through the eyes of the TOP guys controlling everything. Where they think the most noobs will sell, what will scare the noobs the most, where the noobs have their stop losses. Where they can get the most liquidity.

3/4 guys on twitter that have got everything right so far, have said there is a high possibility for a very quick move up to 10-12k, then back down below 5k. I think this is very reasonable based on how the noobs think.

That feel when have no more fiat to add cause you added it all the last time few times you thought a sale was on. Turns out those weren't the sales prices, now I have to hodl through the red.

On the plus side I suspect the time for cheap crypto will run for many months yet.

more money...meh, not since January that's for sure, I got rekt ''hodling'' thinking that's actually a good tactic up until like 1-2 months ago...I've talked about it in here, trader's paralysis or whatever

I consider psychology quite a bit. Just as I've been calling for unker 6k for the last few months, and half this thread was in denial about it (LOL!!) - but my entire point was.......HAS THERE BEEN ENOUGH PANIC? Answer is simple, NO. So, aside from other indicators, yes for me, I consider psychology of the market.

Also, history repeats. I don't care what anyone says, proof is in the charts - because they're repeating. Again. As we speak. This is why I have been sitting in cash for a few months.

And we're still not done here, there hasn't been ground shattering fear and panic yet.


edit: Last time we were under the 200sma was in 2014, and had a bear market for over a year.

It will probably be another short squeeze explosion that sets us right. Shorts are stacking again, and eventually - it won't go unnoticed. Will take one trigger, then Boom! Just like that entire false rally.

It boils down to discipline and greed. If you lack discipline, your greed will get you destroyed, and most of this market - are inexperienced traders, that are desperately trying to buy that lambo (greed). Alas, here we are.

Why do people say 'because last year x y and z happened' as a prediction tool for the future? At the end of stock related ads I always hear 'past performance doesn't indicate future results'.

Problem is people are impatient and want it to happen this year. It took what 7 years for Bitcoin to moon? I highly doubt it will do it again this year, but I think this is a smart long term investment to get into.
