I do a lot of work with various government agencies. We pretty much let an American that knows how to work a system live off the taxes of those who are actually working. It sickens me. BRB, get some sort of mental health diagnosis to get on disability then you get free housing, free food, and spending money for alcohol and drugs and whatever else you may like. These people have no incentive to make a change, and get a job to contribute to society when there is a system that willingly gives them everything that to them is a pretty good standard of living.

That's basically how I feel. Seems like half the country wants to work hard and use their own merit to get ahead and make a good life for themselves / their kids while creating generational wealth. The other half wants to milk the system and live off the hard work of others. The last thing I want to do is enable that sort of behavior.

The goal of everyone IMO should be to work hard and create a better life for their kids than for what they had themselves, and ideally that cycle would snowball through generations. of course some people are going to start at different places, that's the reality of things, but the point is that your family, down the line, will eventually get there if everyone does their part.

My dad came to the country fresh off the boat in the 80s with less than $1,000 in his pocket. He's retired now after a success career and 3 children he put through school. We were modest middle class family, we used to struggle, as in adding water to salad dressing and shaking it to make it last longer. But he gave us a better life than he had himself. And my goal if I ever decide to have kids (inb4 age 49) is to do the same for them and so on. I don't look at the trust fund babies and think of how easy they have it. That would be playing the victim instead of controlling my own circumstances.


People seem to think that just because they were born they are entitled to a great lifestyle where all their needs are met. That's such bull****. Up until maybe 100-150 years ago much of life for everyone was suffering. We have it so fvkking good and people seem to lose perspective of that. 99% of human history was suffering and survival up until recently. Life doesn't owe anybody a god damn thing.

I do too. But it's pretty easy to get cues when it's time to buy/sell. Once the moon kids start coming out the woodwork screaming about buying lambos then you know hysteria is at peak and it's about to take the escalator down.

However there were some huge endorsements in 2020, PayPal was HUGE (and elon himself did too), and seems like mass adoption is just starting for crypto in general. Also lots of really large institutional investment firms making big positions, but really who knows if they're the ones who got in at 4k and are coordinating a pump and dump. Whales can manipulate is so easily.

But what's really great is unlike fiat, its a finite "currency". Only 21M bitcoins will ever be made, and they estimate 4-6m of those are lost in cold wallets that will never be recovered, so more like 16m of real circulation. I'm sure you're all intelligent enough I don't need to explain the appeal of a deflationary currency.

I got in on the 2017 run, but missed this one. So I was glad to wake up and see the much needed correction get started. What I've noticed is that it follows fibonacci retracements pretty closely. But, with the illiquidity mentioned earlier it's probably a self fulfilling prophecy at this point. Guess it doesn't matter if it still works.

OSU...who I hate...if I haven’t made that clear, had a pretty suspect defense this year. Smith is pretty much uncoverable. Throw in Najee, and there was no way Alabama wasn’t going to score 40+ points.

I’m thinking Fields, Sewell, and Parsons could go before Smith. Combines will be big. Smith is not built like your typical NFL WR, but I honestly think that gives him an advantage. Similar to how it works (or worked) for Antonio Brown.

I think Chase has an obvious argument to be the first WR drafted but it's close. Then theres the fact that recency bias will be a thing for devonta and teams will remember him hanging nuts in the NCG first half. 12c/200+y/3TD

I think they have no choice but to invest in him. I also don't think he'll meet the hype but they can't throw in the towel after one, strange by all accounts, season. Can't be understated how having no off-season and training camp really crippled young guys' development.

I've heard the rumors of Tua and picks to Houston for Watson but I don't see that happening. Blockbusters like that are very rare in the NFL, I think something else lower key will happen with watson
