    Unhappy Need help with my workout routine

    Hey everyone

    My routine is currently:

    Day 1: Chest & Triceps + light cardio
    Day 2: Back & biceps + light cardio
    Day 3: Shoulders & legs + light cardio
    Day 4: Just cardio
    DAY 5: ???
    DAY 6: Full body

    I need help with picking what to do on day 5. You see, I used to do legs on 1 day and shoulders on another, but I combined them (1 day), so now I have 1 spare day.

    I asked my friend and he said just do up to day 3 and repeat x2 until day 6 (wipe out full body and cardio)

    What do you guys think?

    Rest days? I've heard you shouldn't do biceps and back on the same day btw. IMO you should do a proven workout.

    Don't do a split, they suck because you are only training each muscle once per week and if you do train each muscle twice per week it ends up being 6 days, which is too much. Full body, PPL or Upper lower is best. You should have more rest days.

    Just reread my post. I meant to say shouldn't. Sorry lol.

    Also, take what I said with a grain of salt. A trainer told me this. IIRC its the same one who told me to workout fullbody mon-fri with rest on weekends.
