Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a torn ACL in practice Thursday, sources informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Watson's remarkable rookie season is over.

An MRI on the knee confirmed the full extent of the injury, Rapoport reported. He suffered the injury on a non-contact play, Rapoport added. He faces an 8-9 month rehabilitation and should be back in time for the start of the 2018 season.

Watson was great at slinging the football, chances are the backup won't be great and might turn to the run game more often than watson did. Idk for sure obviously, but it's definitely not bad news for Miller.

Watson boosted the entire offense. His passing and running ability opened up things for everyone. Every player on that offense gets downgraded now.

Hopkins was an elite WR1 with trash QBs 2 years ago, too, and he was borderline WR1 with Savage early in the year. Fuller is definitely most affected. Hopkins is a possession receiver, but Fuller won't function with a noodle armed backup who can't get the ball downfield.

Disagree. Hopkins was trash with trash qbs. He finished like 38th last year for wrs. I’d rwther keep fuller cause he can run and they will always have a deep throw option.
