I know we periodically go through this, so bear with me.
Now that so many brick and mortar sporting goods stores are closing, I am finding myself shopping for my workout clothes online. I used to shop at sportswearusa.com but their website is down, not sure if they went out of business. So any suggestions for different places to shop?

Not gonna lie, I always get mine from Target, Sporting shops (Dicks, Big 5, Sports Authority though I believe they went outta business?), or randomly on clearance racks at dept stores haha.

Gasp and Better bodies are my go to's. They have a pretty cool womens line too. I've bought a lot off there for myself and my gf. She has loved what I've picked up for her. It's a little more on the expensive side so I'm sure that can turn a lot of people off.

EastBay online. They sell all the Nike/Under Armour stuff but have their own brand which makes some really nice stuff IMO and holds up great. I've bought a lot of their compression pants and tanks. Decent sales frequently as well so when I do want to pick up some UA items I can at least knock the price down a bit. I went HAM on that site Cyber Monday holy crap.
Current PRs:
Bench Press: 200x1
Deads: 315x1
Back Squats: 275x1

Oh nice, some really cute stuff! Love their shorts!
On a separate note, am I the only one who ended up with some really goofy shaped tops that are super hard to take off? Especially when sweaty? I don't know I have 2 tops that I seriously have to dislocate my shoulders to take off. Sometimes I have to call my husband and ask him to grab hold of them and pull, which he absolutely HATES because they are wet with sweat and stinky as phuk, the kind of thing you wouldn't want to touch to save your life.Follow my 2018 competition prep here:

Why are workout clothes so important?
Not that it really matters to anyone here, but I respect women and men that wear comfortable clothing to workout in. Not clothing that reveals everything. Isn't that the point? You go to the gym to train for yourself and show off your body outside of the gym.
I wear an oversized T-Shirt with the sleeves cut off and an old hoodie over that. BBall shorts, an old hat, and my gym shoes

i have been working out for most of my life and felt the same way about workout clothes. However over the last 2 years i started buying actual workout wear. It is much more comfortable to workout in those clothes than sweats, shorts or t-shirts. Especially if you sweat. The difference between a sweaty cotton t-shirt and sweaty, moisture wick shirt, is a huge difference to me. I go to the gym super early - I am the only one there most of the time - so i am not trying to impress anyone.

- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.
