Is that who you think of when you think of a-list actors? Smith hasn't even been in a decent film since 2008.

He's not one of my personal favorites; but he's pretty much as big a name as there is in Hollywood.

completely agreed on both of the Never Back Down guys. when that came out i thought we had a movie on our hands that people would look back at down the road as the start of both of their hugely successful careers.

I figured I'd see more of the Entourage cast in other movies after the show, I know they've all basically made it, but just thought they'd get more roles.

Viggo doesn't like the big hollywood machine. He did History of Violence and Eastern Promises because he likes working with David Cronenberg and Captain Fantastic will be snubbed because the Academy doesn't want to put a spotlight on immunization.

This. He seems to be more of an indy guy. Only picks roles he likes.

paul giamatti and Edward Norton come to mind. Both are great actors but their careers have plateaued. Paul was on a cable commercial recently, wtf?

Was great in the N.W.A. movie. He is also quite ugly so he is unlikely to ever be a leading man.

Wesley Snipes was big for a couple of years, but I would have thought he would've lasted longer...like a Denzel or Sam L type career. Even with his legal issues, people have always liked him and his earlier 90's movies.

He had huge drug problems. Was high during the entire Blade 3. They had to remove most of his dialogue.

Look at any of the top grossing movies from the past decade. They're all popcorn bull****. If you're a real actor, a real artist, you would try hard not to compromise your art for business. Plus with "television shows" more lucrative than ever, why take a chance headlining a movie. It's a big gamble, plus with a recurring series you can really develop a character and potentially have more creative control.

The receptionist asked if he had an appointment and he quietly replied, "No, no appointment." His agent went out to lunch and came back, and the afternoon pushed on to 5pm. When they were closing up the receptionist informed him they were closing and if there was anything they could help him with. He put down a book, looked up and politely told her, "Well, _____ hasn't found a role for me and I have nowhere to be, so I'll wait here until he finds me something."

He was on set filming episodes of ER within 24 hours.

Just saw The Prophecy the other night, forgot that Viggo was in that too. Lookin phukin scary as all chit. I kept thinking "Is that Viggo Mortensen? He looks too creepy to be Viggo Mortensen." Nice tiny but meaty role in a phukt up flick.
