Any of you guise with newer bathrooms? What faucets did you go with? Starting reno on both bathrooms next week an need some ideas. I was thinking about a waterfall type faucet, just not sure what to get.

My wife tells me the same thing. I have put it off for years. Finally found a place that did in home studies. Hoping that I can get some good data for them. Would not like going into a lab for testing overnight.

Maybe I should look into something like that.. I didn't know they did in home testing like that. That's mostly why I haven't done one yet, I don't want to go to some lab somewhere.

I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep as it is. The idea of sleeping in a lab doesn't fit well with me. Of course I blew it last night. I have to have two nights of data. I get charged an extra $25 for an additional night.

I would definitely call around and see if there is a group that does the in home ones. I paid $185 for this test vs something like $700+ to go into a lab overnight.

Solar looks attractive. I have a buddy up the street, house is double the size of ours, paying $220 a month on a solar lease that covers him. Thats probably the way we need to go.

Years ago I heard solar didn't save any money, and it's more something hippies would do to feel good, but I think prices has dropped which has changed that.

But LoL@ $500 for cool/heating costs, unless you live in a 5000sqft house you need to do something, that is the most inefficient system I have ever heard of, probably time to upgrade regardless of solar possibility.
