Once you pre-order a game there will be a timer, you can play the game the minute the timer finishes ... So yeah, I think it is 12.01 am

it's disappointing. there are only like 10 main story "missions." and the rest would be open world side quests.

The team at SE is still constantly updating FFXV which is a good thing but a bad thing for early adopters who already beat the game and moved on. Definitely wait a few more months to see what updates/content come out that could improve it.

like the others have said, it unlocks at midnight on the day of release

but, you can preload (aka install) it usually the weekend before it releases so you can just boot it up instantly once it unlocks

finally got nioh, been so horny for this game for the longest time.

I picked up Persona 5 last week.

Not sure if I'm sold on the turn based combat (yet) but I'm very impressed with the style, story telling and voice acting. Even my gf enjoys watching.

i'm not really a fan of turn-based combat as well, but i feel like persona at least does it a little better than other turn-based rpgs. yeah the persona games are amazing. you'll miss the game so much once it's over. i got burnt out three times, because this persona game is so long, but once i finished... that realization when there won't be another game experience like this until the next persona hit me hard as fuk. there are nothing else like them. recommend attempting to play persona 4 golden after you finish persona 5. that game was a masterpiece.

Not really, it's the start of an entirely new story. I think Corey Barlog mentioned they'll talk about Kratos' BG in the new game and how he got to where he is, but you're gonna be missing out on a ton of backstory info and wont appreciate the new direction or Kratos' development if you dont at least have an idea of the previous games story.
