What they provide is tax free interest, as they are exempt from federal (and often state and local, especially if buying a local block) income taxes. But a young fella your age should make sure max out 401k and IRA contributions 1st.Originally Posted by im2manly

Happy to be doing 60 minutes on the erg daily. Looking forward to some vamped up appetites and cravings. I kind of wanted to do two 45 minutes throughout the day as a progression, but I just kind of want to drive it all the way through to the end of the hour. As long as I can keep improving the numbers I'll just stick with this first thing in the morning. I'll eventually try to do it less fasted. I don't pay attention to cal/hr anymore I just do the split (minutes / set distance).
