Making a decision soon. Already have a C6 z06 as my "weekend" toy so I will be using this car for daily commutes. I have an Audi dealership willing to give me invoice pricing on a 18 RS3 (roughly 4k off) and the Hellcat would be slightly cheaper as Dodge will deal more on them. Still looking at around 60k for either.
Pros / Cons of Audi:
+ Insane tunablity
+ Audi quality interior
- No offered powered seats, wtf?
- No vented seats
- Small, limited storage space
+ Adaptive cruise control with stop n go for traffic
+ Gas milage
+ Five cylinder sound
+ AWD
Pros / Cons of Hellcat
+ 707 HP
+ Also exceptional modibility
+ Power seats, lol, also vented and heated
- No Adaptive cruise control with stop n go
- Gas milage
- FCA quality
+ Supercharger whine
- 2wd with tiny 275's
+ Large, with tons of storage space including trunk
+ Awesome 8spd ZF transmission

If you think about it.
All the pros of the hellcat outweigh the pros of the audi.
5 cyl sound?? And that's a good sound? lol. Nothing beats the sound of a v8. That blower whine is addicting.
If you care for what the badge says, then yes audi is probably a better choice. But everything else, and i can't see paying 60 grand for an audi. And definitely not an audi RS3.

Cup holders for ants. Any drinks larger than a small coffee cup will hit the panel and tilt the cup 45 degrees. Don't even think about a Big Gulp. Worst cup holder placement of all time.
That venti/trenta chocolate mint frappucino is gonna sit in your crotch for the ride and will be fully melted before you get to work/home.

Agreed. The engine, the blower whine and the ZF trans alone will make me want a hellcat. If they had legit lease deals on hellcats i would have one right now parked next to the vette. Or even scatpacks. But scatpack leases are retarded right now. No thanks.
Plus OP is a vette owner. Us vette owners do have a soft spot for the hellcats. We know a fast car when we see one. Although i would only get a charger. The challengers look like ass.

RS3 or GC Trackhawk. The jeep’s interior is better than the dodge, larger and more comfortable for a DD, and AWD to actually put the power down.
You already have a fun car that can handle, and a SUV is so much better to commute in. If track hawk is outside of the budget, consider the SRT.Redskins - Capitals - Wizards - Nationals

Yeah it's got a nice af interior and overall build quality vs the dodge, great soundsystem, best virtual cockpit in the industry, quattro awd w/ their legendary 5 banger under the hood, apr stage 1 tune w/ a intercooler gives you 520hp 480lb-ft which is plenty for a DD road car and it weighs 3400lb, a full 1000lb less then the hellcat charger. Shorter wheelbase and overall smaller so it's easier to park/maneuver in tight areas.

i daily my rs3. power seats are no big deal unless you share the car. you really set it once when you get the car and then forget it. saves some weight.
virtual cockpit is the chit. i still can't get over how cool it is.
from the lights, it'll be a wash. rs3 will get destroyed from a roll.
i agree that rs3 should've gotten vented seats
even though it's based on the cheapest model from audi, the cabin in the rs3 feels a lot more premium than the hellcat. special rs3 appointments like the steering wheel, vc cockpit, super sport seats, extended leather, wider fenders and aggressive look overall makes it more special.
rs3 would be easier to live with if you are looking to carry only one passenger. charger's bigger inside, but overall dimensions on the outside is like a boat. parking will be a bish and the rs3 is miles better in turning and nimbleness around corners.
AWD, if that matters to you (winter) than i would opt for the rs3.

If you have a Z06 already then get a RS3. 5 cylinder sounds great and fastass car. Only gripe with RS3 is no manual.

which one's a boat? the charger's heavier and longer in size not sure you know what you're talking about
as for OP i would probably not want a hellcat for daily commutes. if this is really a commuter vehicle and not a toy or for fun what are you going to do with 700 horses in traffic. despite being a dodge homer and owner i would suggest the audi for daily drives.Last edited by Murph0408; 10-26-2018 at 07:48 AM.

As someone who dailyed a hellcat charger for almost two years I really don’t have many complaints. If you drive it in red key all day with track transmission be prepared to pretty much live at the gas station. Otherwise car gets tons of attention extremely fun to drive, if you get one I recommend deleting the mid pipes car sounds like a nascar lol

I said boat ass LOOKING challenger. Meaning it looks like a boat.
The charger is at least spacious with a functional rear seat because it has 4 doors.
If his commute doesn't warrant a fast car, then he wouldn't be thinking about fast performance cars for his daily. What good is any car in traffic? We all don't live at the track.
OP wants to have fun at the spur of the moment. Maybe the road is clear on his way home from work and he wants to have some fun. He'll have more fun in the hellcat than an RS3.
Only benefit i see the RS3 over the hellcat is the AWD, in which he will only benefit in snow.
The hellcat is more fun in every other aspect of driving fast. Plus it's a v8. Not a sewing machine 5cyl that sounds like a misfired 4cyl lol
