There is no competition for Ronda in UFC, Thats why she finishes these matches in seconds, There is no one out there for her that is experienced enough to actually go toe to toe with her. Put her against a trained and experienced male in her weight class and watch how it turns out. I like Ronda, She is a good fighter but holy **** is she overhyped.By far the most overhyped fighter ever. Cringeworthy watching men athletes bow down to her like she is the 2nd coming of Jesus. I'm never watching a Ronda card again because last night was absolutely terrible. We have to sit through 3 hours of filler to get to watch a :34 second fight everyone already knew the outcome. Complete waste of time.
I like the tuna here.

I have no ill will towards ronda or anything. I like her, I think she's awesome. However the hype behind her is absolutely disgusting and really turns me off from MMA right now. It's not really her fault, it's the force behind UFC's marketing team, Joe Rogan making comments like "she can beat 50% of the bantamweight division", the whole Cain thing, and now Dana saying she's the biggest star they've ever had.

Yep. Check out this guy's take on beating her: http://fightland.vice.com/blog/killi...n-ronda-rousey
tl;dr: A female version of Dillashaw or Cruz or even if Joanna was 20 lb heavier would destroy Ronda.{Misc Fisherman Crew}

Jose Aldo lol.
I get the hype that she gets, props for knocking bitches out left and right in dominating fashion, but anytime there is a comparison with a man it's just stupid. Srs, I think I saw a comparison between Mike Tyson's stats and Rousey and how Ronda had more finishes in the first round. Holy shiet, that made me cringe hard.Manchester United

Of course Ronda is over hyped. But she is fighting the opponents she got. The UFC is making money and she is as well so they will keep this going as long as they can. Anyone with a sane mind knows she would get absolutely destroyed by any top 20 in 135 or 145 male division.*med school crew*

I just read the whole thing and it confirmed the kind of fighter needed to take her out just like in that other thread.
The dude said though they need to implement more jabs keeping her on the outside instead of just swinging for the fences and running into Rousey's chest.
Implement the oblique kick Jones used and circling out with feints.
Unfortunately i don't see any female fighter doing that.
Even not that confident in Joanna if she was 20lb heavier since Claudia threw her around.
Correct me if i am wrong but i think i remember on the jre that Joe said one of the fighters implemented this dudes advice in one of his articles against an opponent and it worked perfectly and flawlessly.
Beautifully sums up Ronda.
"The sad thing is that Rousey is so skillful, but still so limited, and yet every one of her fights has looked exactly the same as her opponents pump 1-2s at her until they end up on their backs. We are being prevented from seeing Rousey establish a completely rounded, brilliant skill set (or at least displaying it) because her opponents have done nothing but try to take her head off in the opening seconds."https://bandcamp.com/singularity7 - Music collection. Predictable fight aside, the thing that got me was how Honda's mom told her (deadly seriously) that she was disappointed by the fact that it took 30+ seconds to get the knockout, and how deflated Honda looked by that...
I always wondered why Honda seems so off: stories about her being homeless for a time, dating a couple of addicts/known scumbags, year spent off the grid 'partying', really shy with a pathological stutter as a kid... it all gets attributed to the trauma with her Dad or looking manly growing up, but I get the vibe that her mom is one of those demanding parents that NEVER shows approval
Daddy issues gets thrown around a lot on misc., but you haven't seen damage until you've seen a girl with Mommy issues
Agree, but this will never happen
I think there's a supernatural phenomenon that causes any woman placed in a cage with Rousey to channel Wanderlei, close her eyes and throw wild haymakers until their hips come togetherLast edited by TheJizzler; 08-03-2015 at 03:48 PM.
