There's nothing unusual about simply following his progress. That isn't what you've been about, though. And it is entertaining. I can't recall seeing you so worked up and emotional and obsessed with anything in here before. And the guy still hasn't done jack ****.
No we couldn't have the same discussion about the QB, not only is the QB involved in the gameplay this season, but he has always lead them to a Superbowl in the past. The QB has most certainly done something in the NFL.

Not emotional at all. I'm more concerned about your inability to comprehend why I've been following him.
He's on a dud team and is hardly being used by his sweaty ass coach who is more concerned about his own future right now.
You didn't answer my question. Aside from Hyde's 168 yards against the Vikings, who is showing him up at SF? According to you he's done jack **** but then he's not alone there.

You want me to list everybody on that team who has more than 23 YFS so far this season? You're following this closely, maybe you should list them all for me? I'll bet it's double digits of guys.
ETA: As I've said all along, maybe he'll be good and maybe he'll be productive but right now he's nothing more than a guy filling a jersey on the sidelines and getting cool story bro attention for the team.

Why did the Texans keep starting Mallett? Hoyer isn't great but definitely has shown that he has far more upside every time he played than Mallett. Yet, every time they'd start Mallett and get nothing and then bench him for Hoyer and the teaminstantly looked better.
edit: The entire San Fran offense sucks balls and none of the RBs are doing anything of note.-

SF's other running backs? Well the starter has 326 YFS where the sidelines guy from AUS has 24. So...calculator says that's 13.5 times more yardage. He has done something.
Punt returners? Unless your name is Devin Hester I couldn't even tell you who returns punts for anybody. Most people are probably in a similar boat except maybe they could tell you who returns punts for their team. But okay...looks like Hayne is the only punt returner on the team. 56 punt return yards through 5 games (about 11 per game), although 37 of those came all in one play so except for the one outlier play he is averaging 3.8 yards per punt return. Is that good? I don't even know what a typical punt return average is because...punt return.

How about the Chiefs' offense?
Daniels is looking pretty good thus far, and Murray started to settle down. Alex Smith is getting a bit rusty this season...

Someone who watches football checks in.
Farley, it's time to let go of this guy's nuts. I'm following him because he's Australian and all we've produced to date are punters if you exclude Jesse Williams who never played a game. He's getting limited game time on a bad team so what is he supposed to do? The whole team is struggling and experimenting more with him is clearly not a priority right now. Or maybe you didn't notice because you don't watch football.

lol I'm not the one on this guy's nuts. Strong troll though, it's certainly keeping the Rant a little less inactive.
But, seriously serious, can we just make a deal that neither of us will EVER talk about him again, ever, good bad or ugly, at all? Serious. Never again. This is the end of it.
(I'd take the deal if I were you but then you seem to be pretty into this troll thing lately so I dunno)

Can you blame me for trolling? Some nights this thread is on the 2nd page.
The deal I'll make is I won't mention him again until he does something worth discussing like a 90 yard TD to win the game.
Lastly, the Australian media has been riding his nuts hard ever since he made the roster so it's hard for me to ignore it when I'm reading about a sport he should still be playing.

As you'd expect with 4 football codes being popular NFL is on the fringes but we do get all the games and it features heavily in the sports news on cable. Hayne being picked obviously would have increased the interest.
I can't say the average sports fan here would know much about Gronk, JJ Watt, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, etc. They'd probably recognize Tom Brady and that's about it.
