Yeah it never really was that hot summer "go outside and hit the pool" weather. :/ Not sure if it's just how things used to seem when I was a kid or what but it's like all the seasons just merge together now.
That was Party, but for the record one time I was driving to work and not feeling well. I took an emergency pit stop at the park for the glorious outhouse that the gods were kind enough to provide me that day. I saw a drug deal going down in the parking lot of the metro parks, LOLOL!! It was like 6am so the park wasn't technically open. I was desperate and so were those people I guess.
Workout coming up...

Incline bench press is going well. It was nice to hit a 120 on PP too, I don't always nail that one. I switched to the stationary bike instead of running for today because I think I have a little tendonitis in my foot (Google says tendonitis and hey dumbass stop tying your shoes so tight with a death grip lol.) Icing that up and letting it rest. Doesn't bother me lifting or just walking around, but I do want to get that resolved so it doesn't become an issue.Current PRs:

Das it mane, the 185s went up nice and smooth and I got an extra rep on the 160 set.
Horrible weekend, srs. My aunt was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Friday she was supposed to have surgery to remove a section of lung with the cancer (hadn't spread anywhere else) and that was going to resolve that for the most part. They went in and could not remove anything due to an artery in the way so really they can't do anything. :/ She has been a heavy smoker for 55 years (my dad has been furious for like the last 20 yrs trying to get her to quit) and has a bunch of other health problems already, so it's not looking good. I went to the hospital yesterday with family to see her and she is freaking out, ugh, bad all around.
Also for work I have a small business that consists of a bunch of delivery guys and trucks, and we work in a place that has many of these small businesses with guys and trucks. Anyway on Friday one of the other groups had a horrible accident where their guy ran over and killed a guy on a motorcycle. I've been there over 15 yrs and there has never been a fatality. Ugh, horrible, both guys were in their early 20s too.
So fuk this stupid weekend. My foot feels better, so that's something I guess. I'm going to try to do a short, easy run this morning and see how it goes.Current PRs:

Awww crap, Hammy. So sorry to hear about your aunt! That's awful about the accident as well. Motorcylists make me paranoid when I'm driving. I was merging from one expressway onto another just the other day, and it's one of those situations where the on ramp immediately becomes an off ramp, so you have to change lines right away. I hit my turn signal, checked my mirror, looked over my shoulder, and still almost hit a motorcyclist who suddenly swerved into view out of my blind spot. I felt awful about it, but sometimes you do everything you're supposed to do, and you still don't see them

Sorry about your aunt. That really sucks. Been there, done that. My aunt's lung cancer was originally treated in Columbus at Zangmeister, or something like that. It was radiation. I know Columbus is a long drive for you though.

Thanks IAGD. Yeah I hate being anywhere near motorcyclists. A lot of them do illegal, dangerous stuff like split lanes, I try to stay far away.

Thanks, yeah I didn't even know that was a possibility. I Googled that and apparently it's very common for the doc to get in the lung trying to do surgery but they have to cancel because something like that is in the way. I would have thought they could see that in advance with a scan.

Moved up to the 80s on db rows, hell yeah mo-fos! It wasn't very intentional, someone was using the 75s for a while so I figured ok, grab the 80s, let's do this! I figured they'd feel massively heavy, but not really, felt about 5lb heavier than the 75s... which makes sense. And a fellow lifter woman told me I inspired her a while ago with my db rows and she worked on going heavy and is now throwing around the 70s.

So sorry about your aunt Ham. Like Bubs, I hope they can at least keep her comfortable.
About Wentworth .... you and Sophie piqued my interest so I started watching it when I was spending a lot of time in hotel rooms away from home. I tried to pace myself, but on my last trip I blew through season 5 - you will not be disappointed! When I started the series I wasn't sure what to expect, but the emotional highs and lows were not what I thought I was getting into! I have boo-hoo'd over that show repeatedly, and have started over at season 1 again. It is an excellent show!
Oh, and excellent lifting in here - not that I expected that to change. Rowing 80 lb dumbbells is just awe-inspiring.

Oh yeah, I am! I lift at a fancy ass gym once a week, but I mainly use that place for the pools, hot tub, water slides, saunas SRS. I much prefer the guys in that gym to the girls, the guys just bro nod me and in general are much better to lift around, some of the girls are annoying AF. I'll never understand how there are always some chicks that are all bubbly and happy instead of in war mode of rage and seriousness in the gym. I swear those bubbly people are doing that on purpose just to piss off the rest of us. 60 degrees, nice weather for running
Das it mane, and a ton of house cleaning this evening. I'm starting a one week deload from gym today. I'm overdue for one and I've got a couple appointments and chit that would screw up my schedule (eye doc, furnace cleaning, dentist, car recall) so I might as well get the deload over with now and knock everything else out. Eye place aggravated me big time. I tried to order more contacts online and got denied, bah! The doc never sent me a "you need an appointment" card so I didn't even realize I needed to go again already. So I'm down to my last pair of contacts (was expecting the new order to be here tomorrow but that's not happening.) I scheduled an apt for tomorrow but then they canceled on me, sigh, so now I have to wait until next week. My jimmies are sufficiently rustled. I told them I'm going to order like a 3 year supply of contacts when I get my RX renewed so I don't have to deal with this again LOL. Not sure why they don't send a card like every other medical thing I do. Well it's going in my iphone calendar now as a repeating yearly event.
Hmmm... I wonder how people in Little House on the Prairie times remembered to see the eye doc without iphone calendars? Probably just stepped outside the house and got eaten by a bear so it didn't matter too much.Current PRs:

Dude, water slides? That's just awesome.
I would try out a sauna post workout, but they're in the locker rooms at our nearest gym, and if it's not co-ed then I don't have Jay to drag me out if my BP drops, and I pass out. >.<
I have problems with hot tubs too, but at least I can sit on the side, and soak my legs for a bit until I feel better.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

You just prompted me to order some over the ear BT headphones to block everyone else out and listen to music of death and destruction during my lifts. Which means I'll need to start recording lifts on an actual camera. Progress?Team Ogre Mascot

Yeah I think it's slow because you don't get that "bounce" off the pavement and you're watching out for sticks and snakes. I see at least one little snake every time.
LOL yeah waterslides! I'm so glad the sauna is co-ed, it prevents people from pacing around in there naked lmao. There are separate saunas in the individual locker rooms but I dare not venture in there, I don't even wanna know what's going on in there.
Haha yeah, there's two water slides outside. One is covered and really small so I'm afraid to go in it cause I don't wanna get stuck lulz, but the other is the shizzle! SWEET! Yes yes, that is excellent news my friend! Metallica, StaticX, Five Finger Death Punch, let the war begin! Also Tao-tronics makes AWESOME BT buds. I am rough on those things with sweat, rain, and snow and they still work a year later. Got em on Amazon for $30.

Alright, deload over! Didn't lift for 5 whole days, ugh, was boring. Did some squats, felt pretty good.
Still have no contacts, but went to doc to renew prescription. Kinda jammed up my ham because they wanted me to try a new brand, which feels fine to me, and is a bit less money per box so I'm trying out a pair for a couple days. I don't understand what's with these places trying to get you to order your contacts through them though. They try way too hard. I said no thanks I'll order them through Costco because they're like $15 per box cheaper plus I still get the rebate. They offered to price match, I don't know why, and I said I'll think about it. I later realized I'd get more cash back rewards plus money on my yearly Costco rebate check so I'd rather do it through Costco. I'll order them online and I guess Costco will have to call them and deal with it as the doc didn't give me the little paper RX. I'm slightly annoyed the doc's office claimed to have the best price at first until I looked it up on my phone and found such a huge difference.Current PRs:
Bench Press: 200x1
Deads: 315x1
Back Squats: 275x1
