Agreed OP. Last time I tried to watch a football game was in 2007. 2.5 hours in it was the 3rd quarter, one team was dominating the other, and that's when I finally dozed off.

as a football fan, yeah quite a few games are boring.. thats why you check the streams and find the games that are exciting - usually theres 5 or so good games per week

Rarely anyone watches football just to watch football, it's all about the teams. You find the team you like and you'll basically enjoy every game played.

It was the same thing with FIFA most "fans" were like "Oh cool soccer" they realistically only cared about their team.

all boils down to the idea of keeping people separated and against each other for yet another petty reason.. if it aint rich vs poor, its black and white.. if it isnt christians vs muslims its my team vs your team.
noone seems to notice, theyre too intoxicated by the advertisements and alcohol, dumbed down from watching pointless "sports" entertainment.. its not even competitive, its ... entertainment.

and we all know who runs the entertainment industry...
