I've always been a fan. I think this is my fourth run with one of the workouts. I'm thinking about going back to Smolov jr, for both bench and squats...at once...crazy, I know.
A little birdie tells me a different story. Show off a true championship physique.
The fam is good, the boys are keeping us young....or aging us prematurely. Depends on the day, lol

Killed a wicked upper power session. My shoulder felt great today so I could really focus on heavy benching and dips. My back is 50% better -- I took it easy and stuck with supported movements for now.

Back and abs yesterday, nothing spectacular. This morning is was back to the fun stuff:
Smolov Week 1, Day 3
(Work sets only)
Incline Press - 7x5x245
Squat - 7x5x305
Did some delts and biceps between sets, just for fun.
My lower back was sore from yesterday, so admittedly the squats felt heavier than they should have. At least I got it all in.
Now about this crazy weight gai. I've had a 5lb swing in the past week and a half. More cardio I guess....Team General Mills

Beyond this did some Pec Dec, Pull Up, Leg Extension & Curls.
The bad news is that I hurt my back. It is so sore and tender now. I don't know if I'll be able to squat in a couple of days. Made me feel a little indifferent about the workout. You know that feeling afterwards when you feel great, feel like you killed it. I left this one feeling sore and defeated. Just didn't have the pop to the lifts. I blame the Stepmill.... lol.
The good news is that it's Hump Day.
